A bit for some plastic but glad I have it. The metal fitting with the pump makes filling the lower unit on my Mercoutboard quicker and cleaner. I use this to empty and refill the reservoirs for the power steering and brakes andadd fluid to the transmission from quart bottles.

Did just what it was supposed to do. It may not be super durable, but if I'm careful and don't cross thread the plastic tip it will last for years. Kind of messy after it is used, but the answer for that is to through the whole thing in a gallon zip-lock bag until next year. This is so much easier than trying to fill a lower unit from the top plug.

Worked perfectly on my Mercruiser. Checked out UTube and for someone who doesn't have a mechanical bone in his body I got the job done without a hitch. It saved me a heap by not having to travel a huge distance to my nearest dealer to get the leg serviced. I was able to do it myself.

Does the job great. Fit 50 hp Yamaha. Canadian tire kit did not fit yamaha 50hp, as the kit bolt fitting was too big for my lower gearbox, and cdn tire had no kit that would. This had smaller bolt that fit my drain hole.
