I ordered the variety pack and find the 5 roasts are pretty accurate in their description of the intensity and "organoleptic profile" to my taste. I generally don't buy the same coffee over and over, but tend to try different coffees often coming back to those I really enjoy so variety in flavor profile is something I experiment with.I do not have the gusto machine and prepared instead using a standard espresso machine for the Napoli, Roma, and Milano, and a pour-over for the Lungo and Americano.These are an interesting pod construction with the plastic cover, then a small chamber over a perforated cover that I assume lets the coffee slowly "drip" over the 7.5g of grounds, then through a paper filter at the bottom of the pod.At 45 cents per cup, reasonable for a high end pod like this. The coffee beans are apparently African aribica roasted and prepared in Italy. Quite a trip from the coffee plant to my cup and something to appreciate, be grateful for, and enjoy.

They taste pretty good. But the fit is such that most of the capsules make the machine sounds like it's about to explode, with pressure built up to the degree that water begins to escape out the edge of the capsule tray :(I really wanted this to work. But can't give an awesome rising for taste when every time I run them through my DolceGusto machine it feels like it will be it's last run, or like it'll explode.

I purchased the Americano flavor. Recently try this at a local coffee mobile café. Absolutely fell in love with the Americano and decided to purchase here on Amazon. It has a nice bold smooth taste to it, no bitterness or aftertaste. Love the overall quantity of 100 singleserve coffee pods at a low price of $42.29. Very happy with my purchase and cannot wait to try other various flavors.

Bitter and harsh

Dolce gusto capsules getting more expensive lately, but this is a good value for the price.. slightly less crema vs more renowned brands. Flavor more toward a french roast vs medium.

the coffee is very good and no weird after taste. It has a wonderful smell even before you open the bag, there is several big bags! The flavor is strong but smooth, mellow, but you can fully enjoy it with no weird tastes. This coffee is my new favorite and my husband loved it too, and he is picky.

When I opened one of the bags the pods were in I was immediately impressed with the smell and had high expectations for the taste, but was left a little disappointed. So out of the box I received 5 bags with 20 pods in each for a total of 100 cups of the Americano flavor. As for the pods they are well constructed and I did not experience any problems with them, they produced a good cup of coffee each time.As for the taste, the intensity is like a five or six, a smooth light medium blend, creamy caramel chocolaty flavor with a bit of sweetness, which I think is the dried fruit note. A mild bitterness, with an acceptable acidity without a bad aftertaste. Overall, I think it's an ok tasting Americano, average at best.

I ordered the variety pack to test the intensity level from light to dark. I have found that one man’s medium could be another’s dark. I have thoroughly enjoyed each of the darker roast in the morning and the lighter in the afternoon.These pods are fresh and offer an overall good cup of coffee. I tend to make a breve latte and the sweetness of the steamed half and half blends well with the slight bitterness of this brand. I would normally use reusable pods, due to price and plastics, but these are nice to have on hand for convenience.
