It's 100% pure - it's in an amber bottle (tea tree oil is light sensitive - light ruins its medicinal properties) and it's just great for all kinds of uses. For me, I get a slight infection when food gets stuck between my tooth and gums - and I can't always get it out immediately if I don't have a dental pick handy. So, I put this on it … and, similar to Oregano Oil for that use - it helps ease the pain. I also use it on open wounds and other things … UPDATED May 31, 2021 … In some reviews, folks have expressed skepticism about the active ingredients in TTO … specifically the values for the Terpinen-4-ol. Well, after reading those reviews and making my own purchase a couple of days ago, I wrote to Thursday Plantation and asked questions about that issue.
