Q: My bike weighs 1,000 lbs. Will this handle it?

It might be able to handle a three wheeler but it can't handle a real bike at all. It dumped my bike weighing only 500 pounds on just trying to get out of the garage causing hundreds of dollars of damage. This design is completely untested, drop shipped from China and completely incapable of towing a motorcycle.

Q: Will this support a 2019 Street Glide Special

Yes it will. But I would NOT recommend using it if you're carrying your bike a long distance. Also, you'd better be very vigilant about making sure you've "rigged" it correctly and stop to check your ratchet straps periodically.

Q: can I drive long distance on highway with this?

Absolutely not. It didn't even make it out of my driveway in spite of adding twice the straps that were included. This is a completely flawed and untested design. Just a box of metal parts from China.
