My dog just adored this natural high quality dog food. Best we've ever tried.
Oh how my dog loved, loved, loved this food! It smells as good as it looks and the ingredient list is fantastic. This is top notch dog food at its finest. The variety we tried is called Wild Game and I said it should be called Up Your Game as I don't think dog food gets much better than this. I wish I could be buying this dog food all the time but my dog for his size requires 3 cans a day and sadly I can't afford that on a daily basis. We do home cook for him, so he is not badly done to, but I would if I could, entrust his meals to this. However for special treats around Christmas and birthdays this will definitely be on the menu. If you have a smaller dog then this is much more affordable or if you mix it with biscuits/dry food. It comes safely packaged but the addition of straw to the packaging, whilst adding the natural touch, is messy and does add its dust to the top of the tins. Other than that what's not to love, love ,love.

Dogs love it.
I'm not sure that my dogs have taken to a food quite like they have to this one, they clearly love it. A lot. My daughter is 12 and her job is to feed the dogs she also loves this food (although significantly less once she discovered that this food contains reindeer), and says that it is like raw food. The cost of this food is quite hard to get your head around, however good the food is you're looking at almost £5 a tin which is an awful lot for a tin. I have four small dogs and a tin lasts two days as we mix the wet with dry food and sadly the cost makes this food too expensive for us to use, but if you can afford it and you want good wet food for your dog, then this is a brilliant option. My dogs absolutely love it.

4.5 stars: expensive but high quality
☑️ As described and as advertised.☑️ Well packaged and well presented.☑️ Clear and easy to read/understand labelling/printing including feeding/dosage instructions, ingredients and other key information.☑️ Easy to open tins.☑️ Grain free and leaner meats (venison).☑️ High meat content (70%) with other natural ingredients ( vegetables, fruits and botanicals).☑️ Lots of jelly too which we assume from broth.☑️ El Mutto loves this and devours it!Expensive but it is high quality pricier ingredients so to be expected over other cheaper mass produced alternatives.

Our Dog LOVES This Food!
I ordered this because our normal feeding routine with our dog is to mix wet/canned food with his dry kibble. We are always looking for a good quality wet food that he loves. When we mix this canned food with our dogs dry food, he licks his bowl so clean it looks like it just came out of the dishwasher. And then, he goes back to his bowl several times after he finishes eating to lick his empty bowl one more time. So, this food definitely passed the taste test with our dog. This food does seem rather expensive, but I would buy it again. As they say, you get what you pay for. In this case, it is very high quality food, all natural and protein packed. The cans are all packed very tightly, so one can lasts 3 or 4 meals (mixing it with dry food), and have very little to no liquid or jelly fillers. So, you really do get a full can of protein packed food. There aren’t any fillers in this at all, so we feel really good about giving this to our dog.Overall, this food is a big hit in our household. It is good for our beloved furry family member, and he devours it with enthusiasm.

Staffie didnt like it
For a dog that normally eats everything he didnt like this, one bite and refused the rest which is rather disappointing the cat however did eat it, so it at least got used

I will buy it again.
This is the second time that my dog has had food from Wild Antler. He is over the moon with this food.I previously tried my dog with only one tin of this food (they are sold separately, but they cost £6.99 per tin). I am happy that I can now save money on buying a set of 4 tins, it is still expensive at £19.99, at the time of writing this review, but it is an amazing treat for my dog.The variety of meats and vegetables made for a licked-clean bowl and the way my dog wolfed it down, I would say he certainly enjoyed it. It also smells lovely, and it is easy to see the quality of it.This food may be a little rich for small dogs, especially if weaning from other wet food or from dry over to wet. This should not discourage the use of this food as the nutritionally rich protein, fruit, botanicals, and vegetables are a great menu option for most dog types and perfect for active dogs, i.e., farm dogs, game & shooting dogs and other professional working dogs.I like that the tin comes with a very clear guide on the label for the recommended servings for various dog sizes and the daily nutritional value to help save any possible confusion for dog owners.

Wild game for working dogs
A four pack of dog food tins. Each tin is 400g.They come in a cardboard box which is taped up and needs cutting open. Beware the insides as there is a lot of straw like packaging for ballast. Which naturally went all over when I opened the box, and required cleaning up.Each tin opens via a metal ring pull at the top. Thus will not properly close back up afterwards and you will need a plastic lid for ideal freshness preserving. This is wet food. It says it's for working dogs. Containing seventy percent venison wild boar and reindeer. thirty percent fruit vegetables broth and botanicals. No grain or gluten at all. And nothing that usually causes allergies like beef pork wheat gluten dairy and soya.My dog is absolutely not a working dog. He liked it anyway. But then he ate catfood once so he's not that fussy. I can't comment on value for money as the listing doesn't currently show it - but had to put a rating anyway. But it is good quality food, on the evidence mentioned, so it's worth a try.
