Review: A very good resource for beginner artists. - I’m very much impressed with how easy this book is to learn from, and use as a resource. I’m a visual learner, and using different tools and stencils helps me with creating sharper circles and whatnot along with the instructions. The instructions are clear and do not get harder with each page. Although it would be nice if the steps had hair and weren’t bald. I’m not good with drawing hair. 🤷🏻♀️ Other than that, i recommend the book. Review: Good tips for drawing - Clear instructions, helpful illustrations

Amazing Book on Drawing Faces
This book was a fantastic read! It first start off with general tips and tools for the trade, and shows the various angles to draw the head. As soon as you get a general idea of how to construct the face, something amazing happens: It breaks down every individual part of the face! Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Ears, and Hair are all individually studied! It shows you various drawing styles from cartoony to semi-realistic. Proper construction, proportions, and unique details are also highlighted. They even give examples and tips on how to stylize these features to give some personality to your drawings. While the arrangement of the book's contents can be a little disorienting at first, I recommend this book to anyone who loves drawing manga. The variations alone will certainly make this book something you'll reread many times! Happy Drawing!

Solid, but definitely for beginners, true to the title
I found this book to be one of the better introductions to manga faces and hair. That said, the same author's Female Figure: Professional Techniques set the bar really high for instructional guides, and this book is not quite on that level. Solid, but not the gem of the pro techniques book.
