Great for my 8 year old.
My son loves making things and fixing things. So this was perfect. It goes with his tools and other things and with adult supervision he can use it and cut what he wants. This works very well and does what it says, itโs comfortable for his little hands, has great grip, is sharp enough for him to do what he wants( so make sure an adult is there) also wearing work gloves would be a good idea for more safety protection. It is great value for money and easy for him to use.

A cheap hacksaw that works
No problem cutting copper and brass. Takes little space to store. It's not as comfortable to use and cuts less efficiently, but very good value for money.

Indispensable DIY tool
Shortening screws and bolts. Cutting off padlocks. Shaping sheet steel. Iโve lost count of times I have used my junior hacksaw to bodge one-off jobs over the years. Just make sure to have plenty of spare blades. They blunt quickly and break as you heap abuse on the tool by cutting badly stabilised objects. Fine-toothed blades work best on steel.
