I didn't use the screw hole fixings but a good quality plastic to brickwork sealant. Fixed to wall over air brick and completely protects from all kinds of pests. Looks smart and blends into surroundings. Review: Simple and effective product - Found that mice had chewed a hole in a plastic brick air vent and had happily set up home. Trapped them with some cheap snap traps off desertcart and bought one of these to cover their entry point. It's a simple and neat solution. If you elect to screw it to the wall the cover has four pre-drilled holes, one at each corner, and small caps to cover the head of the screws if you use them (screws are not supplied). Personally I used a product called 'sticks like sh*t' which is an adhesive that sticks pretty much anything including massonary & bricks. It worked a treat and dries clear so no drilling and mess. Perfect. Cover had been up for about 6 months now and no issues. ## Features - Multi award-winning humane pest proofing solution that stops mice and pests entering your property through air brick and vent holes - Use our mouse mesh grill to cover intact or damaged air bricks - Easy to install using either construction adhesive or screws (not included) - 2mm stainless steel mouse mesh grid; stops pests with an abdomen of 4mm and above - including wasps, bees, slugs etc. - Elegant design to match the aesthetics of your property - Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm - All Mousemesh Products are Fully Airflow Tested - BS EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009 Compliant ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004VELK6Y | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 321,224 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 1,600 in Registers, Grilles & Vents | | Brand Name | Mousemesh | | Breed Recommendation | Small Breeds | | Breed recommendation | Small Breeds | | Colour | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 538 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060271900022 | | Included Components | 1 x MOUSEMESH Air Brick Vent Cover - Brown, 105mm x 255mm | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 25.5L x 1W x 10.6H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover | | Item Weight | 90 Grams | | Manufacturer | MouseMesh Ltd | | Manufacturer Part Number | 2 | | Material | Flame retardant ABS 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Flame retardant ABS 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Stainless Steel | | Model Name | SML BRN | | Model Number | BRmou1a | | Mounting Type | Floor Mount, Wall Mount | | Mounting type | Floor Mount , Wall Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Levels | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | flame retardant non-combustable | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Product Care Instructions | Spot Clean Only | | Product dimensions | 25.5L x 1W x 10.6H centimetres | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor, Outdoor | | Recommended uses for product | Indoor, Outdoor | | Specific Uses For Product | Air Brick Cover, Humane Pest Control, Pest Control, Pest Proofing, Rodent Proofing, deterrant, mouse prevention, prevention | | Specific uses for product | Air Brick Cover, Humane Pest Control, Pest Control, Pest Proofing, Rodent Proofing, deterrant, mouse prevention, prevention Specific uses for product Air Brick Cover, Humane Pest Control, Pest Control, Pest Proofing, Rodent Proofing, deterrant, mouse prevention, prevention See more | | Style | Elegant | | Target Species | Mouse | | Theme | eco friendly, humane, sustainable, wildlife | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Breed recommendation:** Small Breeds - **Material:** Flame retardant ABS 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Stainless Steel - **Product dimensions:** 25.5L x 1W x 10.6H centimetres - **Recommended uses for product:** Indoor, Outdoor ## Images ![Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover, Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Brown, 95mm x 245mm - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61BHTHolnnS.jpg) ![Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover, Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Brown, 95mm x 245mm - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61H9PxVMgPS.jpg) ![Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover, Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Brown, 95mm x 245mm - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81w3g9ARi0S.jpg) ![Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover, Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Brown, 95mm x 245mm - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ujLdsGGmL.jpg) ![Pest Proofing Mouse Mesh Air Brick Vent Cover, Flame retardant ABS frame 105mm x 255mm x 13mm, Brown, 95mm x 245mm - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712sQX-06rL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How many Mousemesh air brick covers come for £9.11?** A: One mesh cover for £9.11 **Q: how are these fitted to external air bricks?** A: I had to use a masonry drill, plug and screws. It does look nice if you have a straight wall like mine, much nicer than just a simple mesh...; the price is quite high for what it is and the plastic edge doesn't look too strong. I haven't had mice or rats but my neighbour had ( hence I bought these) and I've seen how they chew through floorboards... Company says that these are full mice/rat proof! but funny that in their advert they show how some rats chew a solid plastic airbrick! :)...and the edge of these is plastic... --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/51937758-pest-proofing-mouse-mesh-air-brick-vent-cover-flame-retardant](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/51937758-pest-proofing-mouse-mesh-air-brick-vent-cover-flame-retardant) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
