Hutsuls knife and tool strop. Is very high quality for a budget price. It came with a bar of compound, that seems to work very well. It's size is just right. You can carry this every day. Plus it came with a hand written letter from Maria. Which has excellent handwriting. I must say I'm very pleased with this product

I am particularly fond of these strops and I have like 6 of them. I like them because they are small and I use them with diamond abrasive paste or gunny juice ranging from 2k grit all the way to 100k grit as my final edge. And let me tell you it's a beyond wicked sharp edge. The size of this strop is perfect because it's about the same size as my sharpening stones I normally use. It's easy to use them in the same manner as my stones in only one direction of course. And it's also in my opinion easier to sharpen small pocket knives on these size strops as well as being portable if you wanted to get a decent final edge in the field. You can also use regular stropping compounds with them it will work just fine. They also came with some green stropping compound which is what most people use. I know this is a simple product but I do think it's a great value also.

Mine came with a written note which is a nice touch. Good quality and keeps my knife razor sharp. Just use this strop frequently and you’ll rarely have to sharpen your blade.

Great little strop, and comes with polishing compound. I've sharpened a lot of knives over the years with stones and my Schrade steel, but using this little strop takes your blade to the next level. The strop and compound polished out all the micro scratches left behind by stones and my steel. The cutting edge now has a mirror polish that catches your thumb when you check the blade. I'm thoroughly impressed with this liittle kit. I definitely recommend giving it a try. The price is so reasonable my wife didn't even get mad for me ordering it.

This was the first strop I bought when I started carving almost a year ago, and I still use it every day. It has held up to constant usage (particularly the rough side, as I don't use the smooth side) and keeps my blades sharp enough to make the hobby enjoyable. I also LOVE the small size - it's compact enough to fit in a fabric pencil pouch with a couple of knives and a glove to make a portable whittling kit. When my current one finally wears out, I will absolutely be purchasing another. I recommend this strop to any beginner who's trying to get into carving, especially for the price!

Awesome little strop!!! The wood is solid/strong as well as being comfortable in the hand, No sharp edges or spots that need some extra attention, the leather is Quality & is glued to the wood very well. One of the first things I did was go around the edges to see if i could pull any up due to a crappy glue job but it was 100% solid. I like that it is Double Sided as well as the over all size is perfect especially if you wanted to put it in a tool box etc & the price is right, I’m debating on getting a few more as they would make a great gift for someone who likes knives an wants to get that Hair Splitting Edge!!!
