I’ve had these stools for a year now and am very pleased! Comfortable, solid and sturdy. Think low end of Pottery Barn as the wood is a less expensive than say a solid walnut, but still stylish. I especially like the brass accents on the foot rest. I just took the seat cushions off to spot clean and was thrilled with how quick and easy it was. That was one of my concerns as they are cream. I simple took a textured dish towel, dampened a corner with water, sprayed a very tiny bit of shout directly on the stain, and lightly rubbed. Every stain I had came right off. My stains were light so can’t speak to something more significant like red wine, etc. I would definitely purchase again.

We needed a backless option to fit in a small space on one side of our island. This fit the bill. Love the colors and the look, the pad is a hard gel but more comfortable than you would think. Relatively easy to assemble and looks great!

These are the perfect barstools for what I was looking for! I didn’t want something that was really chunky or wasn’t able to be easily tucked away underneath the counter! These are so easy to put together. It takes like five minutes per stool at the most. They are really good quality for the price especially and they work great in my kitchen! I was going to buy them directly from Nathan James website however they were out of stock but of course Amazon had them in stock and I was able to get them the next day, which was a total bonus!

Terrible quality control. Terrible experience with Nathan James. As I was unboxing to build this, I noticed what appeared to be blood or rust (??) on several areas of the cushion. It definitely left the manufacturer this way because it was completely wrapped in plastic and these stains could not have come from the packaging. I attempted to reach out to Nathan James and submitted photos plus my order info and even a video, only to be given the runaround (asking for duplicate info). I need a total of 12 barstools and I purchased this one to see if I liked it; I’m glad I know not to buy from Nathan James again. I gave up and packed it up and had to return it. A huge unnecessary waste of everyone’s time. I will not be purchasing anything else from Nathan James after dealing with their incredibly poor customer service.

Very good stool, esp. for price. It is well made and looks good. Seat is comfortable. We appreciate the swivel function.

This stool is very comfortable and easy to get on and off of. Perfect height for countertop seating and easy to put together. Very sturdy. I ordered 3 of these. One came with a crack on one leg. Cameron at this companies costumer service was great and ordered me another one right away. He said to keep the broken one for extra parts or dispose of it. Will definitely order from this company again if I see something I like. I would recommend these stools.
