I am new to baking and saw a recomendation when reading about how to bake. This realy is a great set of scales, easy to use, precise and clear. I love that I can calibrate the scales without sending them away to the manufacturer. Thats a real positive. Range is very good, so much so that I bought a second set for our stores to weigh componants for export. The only negative I can find is that there are better looking scales if you leave them out all the time and they are quite bulky. Other than that, they are perfect so far. I would have no hesitation in recomending these scales. Readout is large, clear and bright and there's a bakers percentage button! Delivery and price was great, thanks.

For me this is one of those items I wish I had discovered a long time ago. I am useless when it comes to percentages which is obviously quite important for baking and cooking. I feed my cats raw meat and each type of meat has to be precise to ensure a balanced diet. These scales do all the thinking for me. However the reason I chose these was for the ability to turn off the auto off. It is almost impossible to find scales that don't have that option, and to be honest when I am trying to sort out ingredients the last thing I want to worry about is the scales turning off and have to start all over again. The option to use mains or batteries, is also a bonus. And of course accuracy is vital and so far they have been spot on with each use. So all in all, I am absolutely delighted I chose these scales. Aesthetically they are anything but chic, but at the end of the day performance is more important to me than looks. One minor thing that puzzles me is, they came with a few clear covers that are meant to go over the digital display, but there is no way to fix them to the display, they simply slide off. So I have resorted to using 2 tiny pieces of blu tack to hold them in place. Essentially the covers are a good idea as it keeps the display from collecting any dusty flour or residue off mucky fingers.

I love them. They do take like a second if you're removing the smallest amount but these have been a life saver for my batch pizza dough It also charges which I didn't realise. I've been plugging it in every time but I've found that when I'm not doing any baking and I wanna quickly weigh one thing I can just turn it on and shove something on it. Definitely one of my more preferred purchases

Needed accurate scales that can weigh in single grams for baking etc. Who would have thought that would be such a difficult ask? Finally found theses scales that are perfect and having checked them with a 5g weight placed all over the weighing plate can confirm it weighs 5g where-ever it is placed (unlike my old scales that varied from 4g to 9g depending on placement!) I was initially disappointed as they felt a bit cheap when I unboxed them - but actually they are very sturdy, the removable plate is easy to clean (so far) - the cover over the buttons can be totally removed and the buttons themselves are nice and responsive and beep (beep can be turned off) The display is fantastic compared to my old Salter glass scales - very easy to read, nice big numbers, backlit if you want (can also be turned off) They look semi professional, bit big and clunky compared to fancy domestic kitchen scales - but these are definitely worth the 'sacrifice' in looks for accuracy.

Great scales. Nice size so can fit a decent size bowl on and still read the weight.

I wanted a scales that wouldn't constantly need batteries replaced, like my last one. I bought this on recommendation via Matt Adler's website and glad I did. This works very well, easy to read screen and accurate. The best thing, at least compared to my old salter, is that it updates the weight very quickly which avoids over running the required weight. It seems pretty well made. I don't really like the loose cover for the buttons, but there's also a nice hinged cover.
