The media could not be loaded. Edit. Well after watching some old videos. It was pointed out this ships with no lower unit 99w gear oil and you guess it. Shavings after just 20 minute test run. The o ring was also pinched. I contact seller and they act like they have no idea on parts they cant sell any parts for it so. It's more expensive to send it back than throw it away. So heed this. They can't even send a super prop. Plug or sheer pin. They need to hire someone that knows English. The OM says nothing about lower unit oil. And this problem. Has been many years and they have not addressed it. It can easily ship with lower unit 99w gear oil.Well. it arrived early. Just in time for a fishing trip. I mixed the 91 octane fuel and hoped for the best. Put it on. Primed It. Set the choke to off and like 3 slow cranks just to get things lined up. And on the 6th pull she fired off and stayed running. Went like 7 miles. Trouble free. Drive all over the lake laughing at how loud it can be. I found it I go 3/4 th throttle it quitets down and it runs swiftly. I didn't have one stutter out if it. Ran like a top.1. I hear 30 to 1. 25 to 1. And the bottle that comes with it says 35 1. I did like 27to 1 fuel mix using Red Armor oil. 91 octane fuel.2. Choke off and on is still reversed. If you want to choke it go to off. Run is on. .3. I could not find a way to put gear oil in it. It must come with it in.4. It's a centrifugal clutch. When you gas it up it starts the prop. Brilliant.5. When the fun is over they suggest you use the stop switch on top.Very happy how incredibly light this motor is and how well it ran.I only ordered it because the reviews on YouTube. I never smelled fuel or oil. It didn't leave oil in the water. 100!

There is no notice that the gear box needs to be filled before use, nor any instruction as to where or how to do. Without gear box oil the propeller drive self destructs in an hour. The manual is nearly indecipherable as the translation to english is so poor. There are at least 3, maybe 4, different instructions on the fuel to oil mix ratio. No recommendation on break-in time. There is a cooling water pump impeller included in the parts, but no instruction as to what it is, or where or how to replace the impeller. Same with the shear pins for the propeller. It appears the motor is sold by various independent parties who know nothing about the motor, and care less about any problems a buyer might have.

this motor is a great little motor, one issue i had was the choke lever broke but the customer servie with the seller is amazing, they helped solve the issue very quickly i would recomend this motor and this seller to anyone.

Would never pump water and cool itself off. replaced pump same still not pumping I wouldn't buy again

Good motor ,started on quickly after a few priming pumps.
