Homesick Scented Candle, Australia

I received a Homesick candle from a friend a year ago and thought it was the most thoughtful gift I'd ever been given. I missed home so much and it smelled exactly like my home state (NY) in the fall that it made me tear up. So this year for Christmas I decided to get one for my Australian friend and she had the exact reaction that I did. She couldn't thank me enough for such a thoughtful gift and said the smell really made her feel at home!I will say that the scent is stronger while it is not lit than when burning, which I find odd but not off-putting.

Did not have a lid and it would have been nicer if the container was decorated to reflect Australian background, not just a too plain label. Too expensive for what it is, but I like the idea. Scent was nice but wasn’t really distinctive.

This brings me back home to the great land of Australia. I love it!

Purchased the Australia candle for my Aussie husband. I expected more eucalyptus but still enjoy it. I've smelled plenty ocean or beach fragranced candles. This smells similar to those but with eucalyptus. I happen to have a very strong sense of smell. Most scents and smells bother me. I recommend this candle. I like it. Husband liked the smell also.

My boyfriend is an Aussie and I wanted to give him a little bit of home. He loved it! Smells amazing.

Is this candle even meant to smell? Very disappointed. No scent as it burns. The only way you can smell anything (that btw, doesn’t make any resemblance to Australia to me) is if you place the candle right up your nose - which I’m not planning on doing. Packaging is decent, but not worth the price. If you want something that looks good and doesn’t smell you can find cheaper options.

Beautiful aroma from this candle. Certainty reminded me of home.
