This kit is suprisingly great for the value! I was able to completely repair my broken couch. And then re-upholster it using this kit. I would definitely advise any starter level user to buy this as their first set!

I mainly bought this for the thread, but it's a great assortment of usefull tools for the beginning leatherworker like myself. The threads are coated with wax, it's not the greatest coating as it tends to flake off, but for the price and how many colors you get and the length of the spools. It's great! For the price, I really recommend this for aspiring leatherworkers!

Nicely compact and assembled in a very tough zippered pouch. Zipper itself seems like could be a little heavier. Good travel item to put in your leather tools

About this song said to replace the one I had prior because I lost it when I moved. I have to say that it was more than what I expected. The case looks very sleek and nice and zips up. You get everything you need for a low price. It's also lightweight and not too bulky. I would have to say I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

About 1/3 of the tools in this kit broke within the first week of use. Best used with thin leather.

I wanted to get some cheap tools to work on leather, because I was using my mom's sewing needles and the inner guts of paracord to sew leather. Not very fun, too much force and the guts tore, or the needle broke, too little, and you won't be sewing. This thing came with tools to punch through the leather and then stitch it up, lacing thread, and pretty much everything I could ever use. If you are just getting into leather working, this is perfect. You'll get all the tools to start out. I have literally one complaint, the grooving tool doesn't reach far, and so it doesn't reach the leather because of the round interchangeable part. I still was able to use it, it just doesn't work easily, and honestly that might even just be me, not knowing how to use the tool.
