Extremely disappointed and did not work as expected
I purchased this tape to seal my sunroof, hoping for a quick and effective solution to stop leaks. Unfortunately, the product fell far short of expectations. The tape didn't adhere well to the surface, and within a few days, it started peeling off, making the situation even worse. It was also difficult to apply, with the edges not sticking properly no matter how much pressure I applied. To make matters worse, I included pictures with my review, one of which clearly shows water on the driver's side floor—proof that this tape did nothing to prevent leaks. This product is simply not reliable for automotive use, and I would not recommend it to anyone. I'm returning it and looking for a better solution.

Efficient
My sunroof doesn’t shut/lock down but it’s closed. It would rain in my car. I should have bought this long before I did! It’s excellent and keeps rain out of my vehicle

Update- Take your time and do it right and it will be great.
Well it’s been 8 months now and sad to say the tape did not hold and is peeling up at the corners. Prob a good cheap temp fix but definitely not a permanent solution.Original review>It’s only been a week but we got a big rain storm last night and no leaks!Installation is easy but you do have to take your time. Clean all the surfaces. I used the two pads that came with the kit but that wasn’t nearly enough. It smeared black all over the paint from the original seal so I used denatured alcohol to wipe off the marks and clean the entire surface. I faced the thin side towards the glass for easier transitions. Started half way up the drivers side and slowly pulled the tape back as I went around. It was kinda cold that’s day 45* f. So I kept the tape in the house to keep it warm and mailable. Cut the end to match up at the end. Hopefully it continues to hold but looks promising so far.

Has held up very well but requires careful installation.
I bought this to seal a sunroof on a Lexus that allows water infiltration during heavy rains. The leaks have already caused thousands in damage to the interior of the car which I was lucky to have covered by insurance. However, I did not want this to happen again, so I bought this to seal the gap on the exterior. I never use the sunroof anyway, so there was no inconvenience in doing so. I lived in Florida at the time and now live in the northeast where it gets very cold. This has held up great through all extremes of weather. There are a lot of reviews about how it doesn't stick or can't be used on corners. I think you need to do two things to avoid those issues. One is to thoroughly clean the area you are applying it to. The existing gaskets can accumulate a lot of dirt and this won't stay on unless that dirt is all removed. Second, be very slow and deliberate when applying to the corners. Take your time and do it slowly, and it will conform just fine. At the end I had a tiny gap where the ends met up - I covered it with a piece of electrical tape which happened to be the exact same width and color - you can't even tell.

Worked great on 2009 Mini R55 Clubman S panoramic sunroof
Panoramic roof had terrible wind noise and I will never open the roof anyway. This gasket is super easy to work with, exactly fit into the gap between the panoramic sunroof and the roof. I had to go back and readjust after a couple of days - the corners lifted. I realized I had stretched the rubber instead of pressing straight down on it. I was able to remove the entire strip, reposition to be sure both pieces of tape had something to stick to, ensured there was no stretch, carefully pressed the rubber into the gap and a week later it's still sticking strong and there is absolutely no more wind noise. The tape is strong enough to withstand removal and re-attachment. No problem.
