Alfie is a FB2 cavapoo & is 8 lbs. He was just neutered & I noticed he was trying to lick there. I bought this in hopes that it would be easy to put on him as well as protect his goodies or lack of thereof. LOL it fits him perfect, is soft, stretchy and putting it on was really simple. He isn't a fan of putting clothes on, or being still enough to put clothes on. You put their head through the neck first and then the front legs, which are large enough to where he doesn't even know that he's putting on a shirt. Then the snap part comes up through the legs, the snaps aren't hard to "snqp" so you're not sitting there long at all causing them to get anxious. Alfie is still a puppy so he hates sitting still for long. It has a big hole for the tail so it doesn't press on it at all. Theres multiple snap spots so you can fit it accordingly. He has been wearing it all day and hasn't tried to get out of it. It is not super tight but it is protective enough where he can't get to his incision. Being that is near his hiney it is a big plus. Other recovery suits that I've tried do not cover the area that I need protected. The decal on the back is a plus. So adorable. He still looks cute without looking like he's in a straight jacket LOL his measurements are: neck 7 in, back 11 in, and girth 10 in, 8 lbs. I got the size small. This fit him perfectly. I haven't taken him out yet but the instructions on how to snap it up out of the way looks easy enough. I don't have to take it all off just to put it back on again. If anyone is looking for a recovery suit I highly recommend this one.

My dog had a major surgery this week in her abdominal/chest area. A vet tech recommended I get her one of these before surgery and bring it with me the day I dropped her off. It is AWESOME. It is like a onesie for dogs! It’s a soft, very comfortable t-shirt material, and it’s protecting her staples and sutures, no matter where she lays down. I measured her using the sizing chart and it was very accurate. It’s loose enough in her chest/abdominal/female area to not cause irritation or chaffing. I ordered the XXL because my dog has a very large body and chest. It was a little long for her, but I just twisted the “Potty Flap” once before snapping it around her tail and that took care of the extra length. This is the second one I ordered, so I could change them out and wash the other one every few days. I love the “Ruff Life” screen print on the first one I ordered. While the dreaded “Cone of Shame” may still be necessary for some surgeries, this is perfect for the procedure my dog had. I would 100% recommend! Check with your vet if this is an option for your fur baby!

This is perfect! It's like a onsie for pups. It fit perfectly based on the measurement chart. It is so easy to put on and is super convenient with the front chest snap for potty breaks. The material is super soft and doesn't irritate my sensitive girls skin.It also is perfect for keeping diapers in place. If you have a pup who needs diapers but the constant happy tail makes it hard to keep them on, this works perfectly to go over them.

Our bernedoodle does NOT like the cone of shame, who would? I call these his pj's, and they were quite comfortable for him, best as I could determine. I expected him to try to chew them off, but he seemed to like wearing it. I wish I would have had this from day one after surgery.My only complaint was that there was no moisture barrier between him licking the pj's and his belly underneath. There is a pouch that's open ( a closure might be good) on the area that had surgery, and I suppose you could try to put something there to block the moisture, but you couldn't close it to keep a dog from pulling out whatever you used there.It was easy to pull up when he had to do his business. And yep, one time we let him out and forgot to pull it up! Yuck. Our fault. It cleaned up well in the washer and dryer with no shrinking.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for my 10 lb Yorkie after abdominal surgery. I got an xs & a small. They both work-the xs is a bit snug but not too tight & the small is looser. She is currently wearing the xs. I love this product, but not sure why there is an extra layer of fabric on the inside where the belly would be. I think the seam has the potential to rub on the belly wounds, but I don’t know if it is. I really like the product & my girl can’t get it off. I like the snaps instead of Velcro. You just unsnap the back & snap it under the neck for potty times. I would definitely purchase one again if I had the need.I’ve now had the chance to wash this & it came out beautifully. I hung it to dry so it wouldn’t shrink. These would also be good for a little extra warmth in cooler weather, either for sleeping or just being outside. It says they are frequently returned, but I’m sure they are for sizing issues. The garment is the best!

This was just ok. I ordered for our 18 month male golden retriever who got neutered. He was miserable with the cone of shame. I also ordered a better cone version from Amazon that had an inflatable donut plus a smaller and more flexible plastic, but he not only hated that too, but was able to still lick the incision area. So ordered this surgical suit and another option in case one fit better. I measured him at 28” long and 31” around his chest. His length put him in between XL and XXL. Based on reviews that said it ran small, I ordered the XXL. However it was way too big and baggy, and the leg holes left big gaps where he could easily still lick. Definitely more for thicker or chubbier doggy, but didn’t work for our lean boy. It was also on a cheaper side. The fabric seemed like it would stretch out after taking on and off a few times. Absolutely love this recovery suit! I’d never heard of them before, but when we picked up our mini poodle from her spay surgery the vet tech mentioned them. I ordered 2, one was a different style and brand, but this one is far better, it’s adjustable which is perfect for her long poodle body and the fabric is high quality and so soft. Also, the snaps are much easier to deal with than the Velcro ones.Highly recommend!Editing my original post to add a review for the second suit I bought of this. 2 weeks after our mini poodle was spayed our standard poodle was neutered and this suit (in XL) fits him great! He doesn’t seem to like it as much as our mini poodle liked hers, but I suspect the fabric is probably touching some very sensitive spots. But it’s doing its job keeping him covered and preventing licking!

Purchased this for my 10kg cockapoo after her spay. It’s excellent. She hates the cone of doom so this was a game changer.It has poppers which open easily for toilet.The poppers are at 2 levels and really stable so can make tighter or looser. Covers all the bits needed.Really good quality and she looks cute too. Highly recommended and excellent value for money. Super versatile
