Gator Cases Traditional Series Hard-Shell Wood Case For 3/4 Sized Acoustic Guitars (GWE-ACOU-3/4)

I have a Yamaha FG Junior JR2 3/4 size guitar. It came with a crappy "gig bag," from which it was difficult to extricate the guitar, and did nothing to protect the guitar, except maybe keep the dust off. THIS CASE IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! It's incredibly sturdy, padded with silky plush fabric inside. The guitar body fits perfectly, and for my particular guitar there is about 5-6 inches of space above the headstock. But the body is held in place beautifully so it doesn't matter that there's space above the head. I could probably stand on this case without crushing it (not gonna try tho.) It has four very sturdy clips to hold the lid down, and one of these clips has a wee lock, which probably would only deter a toddler, but it looks nice. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavy, but unless you're carrying it for miles that probably won't be a problem. The carrying handle is very solidly attached. I get the feeling this case will last for years, and look new forever. If you want a case that gives you the shabby appearance of a nomadic vagabond musician, buy a different case. But if you want to protect your guitar on your rambles, this is the one.

I was having a hard time finding a good, affordable hard case for my son's Yamaha JR1 so I bought this one. I was concerned it would be way too big. It fits the guitar nice and snug, and now if/when I upgrade my son to a larger guitar, we already have a case for it. This is a really well made case. Just try not to pay attention to the fact that it has doubled in price in the past few years.

I’m heading off to college, and I wanted a sturdy case to fly with my guitar. I own a 3/4 Maestro by Gibson acoustic, and this fit perfectly!!! I had to remove my tail-end strap peg to get the edge of the guitar in, but it fits like heaven and I’m so confident about its safety now!! The case is so lightweight too, because I was afraid of lugging a heavy case through the airport. I’ll put in some padding around the tuners just for my doubts, but I KNOW the guitar doesn’t even have room to move around! DEFINITELY worth the money, and was cheaper than a store bought case. I’m so happy!!

Well made case, does not fit jim dandy concert

Great case with sturdy and well alinged latches, soft padded black interior and internal storage compartment. I was shopping for a hard case for my D'Angelico Utica Travel Guitar and it appeared the SKS Big Baby Case was 1 inch too short to fit the headstock D'Angelico are famous for. The Gator is a great fit. Has about 1" 1/4 extra space beyond the headstock to the end of the case and the body is slighly smaller than the outline of the case but when I fold up my strap, place it under the neck just above the joint, it holds the body firmly in place. Ideally a 1/2 inch smaller all around would be perfect but once I put the strap in it is a perfect fit. No movement or shaking around inside once I close the lid.

I love this case! Now that I have gotten that out of the way let me tell you why. I have been looking everywhere for a hard case for my Cordoba Requinto 1/2 Size Classical Guitar . It is super hard to find a case for small guitars and I was so happy to find this one. It states in the the product discription that this is a case for 3/4 size guitars but my Cordoba 1/2 size guitar fits almost perfectly with just 3 inches of extra room at the guitar head and no extra room around the body. The case is padded on the inside with a plush lining that keeps the guitar from moving. A small compartment under the neck is great for a capo, picks and cleaning rag. I know that this case offers much better protection then the gig bag the guitar came with. I am planning to add a guitar humidifier this fall which will hopefully keep my guitar in good shape through the dry winter weather. Before ordering this case I went to the Gator website for the inside measurements and compared them to my Cordoba to make sure of a good fit. Very happy to have a case just the right size for my small guitar. Happy playing!

I purchased this Gator hardcase for my Yamaha CGS 103. I read the reviews on Amazon first and hoped that it'll fit. It arrived today as promised. It had no scratches, no dents, no imperfections. When I placed my Yamaha 3/4 size on it, I was pleased to discover that it fit with a bit more space on top (see my photos) but due to the padding, the guitar does not rattle inside. The case also had room for an extra set of nylon strings and guitar tuner. I was disappointed that Yamaha doesn't sell guitar hardcases for their acoustic guitars, but Gator came to the rescue and I'm happy with the results. I recommend this hardcase for your 3/4 sized guitar. I purchased a hardcase instead of a soft gig bag so I can take my guitar travelling if I choose to. I'm not a professional musician, just a retiree wanting to protect my guitar. I wrote this review without incentives, having paid full price for this Gator hardcase.

Past perfect

Llevaba tiempo buscando un estuche para una guitarra antigua (del 1901) y que poe sus medidas y características no encajaban en ninguna case. He visto las medidas de esta (la de 3/4) y se acercaba muchísimo a lo de la guitarra y decidí arriesgar. Encajó perfectamente, como un guante! Aparte de esto me parece una case de calidad, he tenido varias y de varias marcas y esta para el precio que tiene es de verdad excelente.

Gibson LG 3/4 用に購入。写真の通りボディー下部、ネック部、ヘッド部はジャストフィット。ボディー上部のくびれ部分は左右に2センチくらいの隙間が出ます。全体的には星5つ。ナット付近の下にある白いものは湿度調整剤ですので気にしないでください。

Der Koffer ist sehr schön, mein Enkel hat sich sehr darüber gefreut. Leider ist anstatt ein Koffer, drei Koffer angekommen und ich weis nicht wohin ich die zwei übrigen Koffer wieder zurücksenden kann . Ich würde mich freuen wenn Sie mich kontaktieren könnten. Ansonsten verschenke ich die übrigen Gitarrenkoffer.
