Quick PSA: I don’t get paid for reviews, but I do like writing them so I can determine if the product actually achieves its claims. Warning: pics of my breakout aka: why I am trying this product. My background: I get monthly hormonal acne breakouts, so I am well versed in trying different spot treatments. Why I decided to try this one: it’s combination of sulfur and alcohol, both great agents for thinning the top layer of skin and drying out pimples and blackheads. I know that because my breakouts are hormonal this product won’t be a cure, but I wanted to know if it could do anything for the inflammation or the redness. Instructions: dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment and apply to blemishes without rubbing. Don’t shake bottle. This I found a little difficult because the sediment is heavier and sinks to the bottom, I used a q-tip for application. Attached are the photos I took to see how the product would impact my breakout. As you can see the product did reduce inflammation and redness and caused some of the smaller pimples to diminish. Again, as someone with cystic breakouts I don’t expect and overnight cure, but I am pleased with the results. I think using the product a few days in a row would almost completely get rid of the larger pimples. Pros: good ingredients for drying oily skin and clearing breakouts, great packaging and decent amount of product (you don’t need to use a lot for each spot), saw visible results in one night, proved claims for reducing redness and inflammation. Cons: Sulfur smells like sulfur (that’s just life), a little difficult to get the sediment at the bottom unless you use a qtip. Overall, a good product for someone with black heads or Whiteheads, will dry them out over night. For someone like me with more severe/hormonal acne it’s a great start and flattens the breakout so it’s less noticeable the next day. Amazing product, it works like magic . I have number of medical problems and it effects the skin, I am as well on chemo and my immune system is no longer works, so skin problems don't react much on medication, antibiotics or topical. This one drying up affected area by the morning, it do live some pilling in my case, but after exfoliating and moisturizing skin looks wonderful. Arias I was try to improve for several months was cleared and started to healing after 2-3 days of application, some small arias after 1 application. It's have strong smell and its give feeling of burning for couple seconds as I apply the product, but it's not irritate around, its calm down fast, dry fast, you have to wash it off with face cloth in the morning but by the morning it almost skin colore and almost not visible. Its dry very fast and its light pink in color as you apply but it's not living any spots on pillow after its dry. Amazing product, very helpful to me . Arived fast, all factory sealed. Make sure to read instructions before use it, it should settle down to the bottom of the bottle, so don't shake it before use and you will need applicator.

Before I talk about my review, I want to talk about my history with acne. I first had acne when I was around 11 yrs old. I used to have oily skin. Right now, my skin is the combination type and I'm suffering from cystic acne/pustular acne. It's often hard and painful even with just the slightest touch. I used a combination of topical treatments and took some antibiotics in the past in order to help combat the issues I had with my skin. I never had any redness on my skin except for the pimple itself. Hence, I was really curious to try this product when it was offered to me for review. WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT: - I liked how some of my pimples had been better overnight. It only works for certain pimples, not the hard & painful type of pimple. So, yes it dries out certain blemishes. IT WORKS OVERNIGHT FOR MINOR blemishes. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: - The strong alcohol chemical smell. - The way of using this product. I messed up twice. Careful not to mix/shake the bottle and use a q-tip to reach for the pink gunk close to the bottom of the bottle. That's what you want to apply on the affected area. I would definitely recommend this product to those who have minor breakouts from time to time. I'm not sure if this product is helpful for those with cystic acne. I've only used this product for a week, so only time can tell if I would recommend it for those suffering from cystic acne. I was satisfied overall.

Is so good now with pimples like a teenager it dryers them in just one night after applied

No adverse reactions, that's a plus. Reduces appearance temporarily, but does not clear up blemishes.

Finally a product that actually works with my acne! I'm prone to getting small pimples around my chin, hairline, and oddly enough, by my ears. They would hurt because they don't actually pop. I get acne pretty frequently because of my oily skin, but with this drying lotion, I put it on the night before, and I wake up to a clean, pimple-free face! I used to use the proactiv refining mask and I feel like this is about the same thing, but BETTER. The trick is to let the pink sediment settle, then put your qtip into the liquid, and barely touch the pink sediment. I dab my face where all the pimples are, and sleep with it overnight. I wake up to a fresh, clean face. I've never used a product like this before, and I've used a LOT of acne products for my skin. So far, the fact that I've seen an overnight change in my face when some products take weeks, I'm so glad I discovered Ebanel products. They definitely know what they're doing.

It came empty and dried out

I made the stupid decision to quit my birth control, while in PA school where my cortisol levels are already in though the roof. My occasional one or two PMS zits turned into multiple breakouts per month now that I wasn’t on the pill. I had a horrible breakout on my chin- once one zit went away, another would pop up. I was starting to wake up with one or two new zits every morning. This was a good alternative to prescription topicals that my insurance wouldn’t have covered. It has helped a lot! I didn’t wake up in the morning with the zit completely gone like others have advertised, but it definitely dries them up within a couple of days and controlled my breakout. The scent is like rubbing alcohol at first, then a faint sulfur smell. It’s definitely tolerable and I put it on every night. I’ve been recommending this product to friends!
