With creativity, you can continue to make these more challenging by wrapping them in blankets putting them up on a stepstool, setting them in a box, just for a few examples. My 5lb chihuahua loves this puzzle. The pieces are lightweight to open and slide. Her biggest challenge is the white center caps, but only mentally challenging. She has to nudge it up with her nose then pulls it out with her paw. It does take a little while for her to get them so I only use 2 of the white caps.
