Excellent, really impressed.
I'm not one to review but had to give credit to these handles. I bought three of these handles not expecting much from them, however I am so surprised by the quality and ease of use. I did get a handyman to fit for me as we needed bigger holes for the handle than was originally there, he said they were really easy to fit. The quality is great, again I expected much less but they are solid handles that feel nice to use and sturdy. The app is easy to use and setting up the fobs, passcode and fingerprint access took literally seconds to do. The fingerprint is very much like a mobile phone's set up, the passcode can be changed and the emergency keys give peace of mind about any glitches that may happen in the future. The lock sends an alert if the door has been tried by someone without permission and you can decide on three methods to get this message, or turn it off completely. There are so many functions and choices I'm still learning all the things we can do. For teh price I would throughly recommend this product

Really good idea, works perfectly!
Absolutely fantastic this! Quite easy to install and set up with the app! Bought this to go on a cupboard in my hallway to store Christmas presents and it worked perfectly to stop little eyes seeing what they have or helping themselves :) I used cheap aaa batteries and they lasted about 3 months with me opening it most days, the app even tells me when those batteries are dying! Just make sure you don't lose the little keys as the batteries are on the inside of the cupboard 😂

A tale of trust, fingerprints and One Very Broken Handle
I wanted security. I got suspense. This smart lock started off like a dream: sleek, modern, and just futuristic enough to make me feel like I lived in a spy movie. When it reads your fingerprint (which it does... most of the time, after a few polite retries and a whispered prayer), it unlocks with a satisfying click that says, “Welcome home, Agent 007.” But then came the twist. The lock is installed on an internal porch door—so it’s shielded from rain, snow, and the general wrath of British weather. But the door itself? A charming old external hardwood number with a personality of its own. It sticks. It groans. It demands a firm hand. And apparently, that firm hand was its final straw. One day (less than 6 months after installation), I pulled the handle a bit too enthusiastically (read: with the force of someone late for a meeting and betrayed by biometrics), and the inner spring gave up on life. The handle now hangs there like a sad little limb, unable to return to neutral or turn far enough to actually open the door. It’s less “smart lock” now and more “smart obstacle.” To be fair, the fingerprint tech does work—when it’s in the mood. But the handle? That’s where the plot unraveled. It’s like having a car with a great engine but no steering wheel. Technically functional, but practically useless. So if you’re thinking of installing this on a door that’s got a bit of character (i.e., sticks like a toddler with jam hands), maybe reconsider. Or at least be gentle. Very gentle. Like, Victorian ghost gentle. Final verdict: Great concept, decent fingerprint reader, but the handle couldn’t handle it. Literally.

Assemble it before drilling your door, will make fitting easier!
I am really pleased with this locking doorhandle. As others have described, it was a little bit of a fiddle to fit it, but I assembled it how I wanted it on a table before fitting it to the door so that I knew exactly what I needed to do to the door. The App is ok, nothing really to write home about, and the current app setup was slightly different to the instruction book, but it is still fairly straight forward to set up (the door lock was in a different category on the app to where described in the instruction book). In summary, it locks when you close the door, and unlocks when you put your thumb on the pad, quality appears good.

Decent Biometric Door Handle
I was a bit unsure about whether I would be able to fit this door handle as I’ve never done anything like it before but I wanted more security to keep some valuables safe and secure. The instructions were fairly straightforward to fit it, The main thing I struggled with was cutting the hole in the door for the screws and to accommodate the handle. I didn’t have the right tools though so cut the holes with a Stanley knife and a drilled a few holes. I did have a handle pre installed on the door (it wasn’t a new door) and I thought it might be a simple change of handle but no I had to adjust the hole in the door and fit the plate in the door frame to accommodate the new bolt size. It wasn’t difficult maybe took me an hour to fit and as I said I did most of it with a Stanley knife so I’m guessing if you have the right tools you’ll find it much easier. Wiring it up was simple it was just running a cable through a bar in the handle and plugging it into a battery pack (You need 4x AAA batteries, not included). Then setting it up on the app and pairing it on my phone was easy, I literally just scanned for it via the app and it picked up the specific model and paired it to my phone. I’m ok at DIY but if you really struggle with technology it could be easier to get someone to fit it for you but a carpenter could do it in 2 seconds with the right tools. In terms of the functionality I’m well happy with it! I can unlock it with my phone, a code or my fingerprint and the handle won’t work if it’s given the wrong print. There isn’t a lock as such it’s more the handle is disabled until it has the right input such as your fingerprint. It also comes with 2 keys just incase the batteries run out. It does exactly what I want it to and to be honest it looks really cool when it lights up. I’d recommend this product 100% I just wouldn’t necessarily use it on your front door for example as I’m not sure if it could be hacked with NFC or RFID but I’m no expert in that area. Great product, I would buy it again if I needed another locking door handle.

Great bit of kit for the price
Thought it was going to be cheap and in all honesty rubbish. But I was wrong. This handle for the price is amazing, easy enough to fit and the app is great to follow. Only just installed it so need to give it some time to see how it'll stand. But yea definitely impressed so far.

Bought this for our internal garage door and I am so surprised by this! Been using it for a few weeks now, unlocks easily with fingerprint every time, can also use an RFID tag or passcode, works with all. Unlocks and locks super quick too. Easy installation just followed the instructions. Connected easily to Tuya app as well. I also have a WIFI Bluetooth hub that this is connected to so that I can control the lock when away from home. Easy to unlock and lock in app. The only thing I don’t like is the Bluetooth connective range. It’s very short maybe 3-4m. I have another smart Bluetooth device that has a much longer range (at least 10m!). So if you buy this with the intention to control from your phone you will need a WIFI Bluetooth hub or be in the same room close to the door lock.

Being relatively inexpensive and small (basically just a normal office door handle) it makes for an excellent interior door lock, such as for offices, or access from a garage inside the home. The fingerprint scanner is positioned in such a way that you can simply grab the handle to open it and place your thumb over the sensor, making it a very fast, single motion unlock. It’s important to remember that while the lock does support remote unlocking via the app (Tuya), this lock is Bluetooth and does not connect to WiFi: this means you need to be standing near the app to remotely unlock it (unless someone else installs the app and you set their permissions, but this a pretty involved process — which also requires the other party to install the app — so not something you could use to unlock the door for a repairman or delivery driver, for example). There are, however, provisions to set up temporary passcodes, single use codes, etc. So there are possible workarounds if you prepare in advance. All management (users, passcodes, fingerprints etc) is done through the app well. Installation was easy, everything fit together well and was simple to set up. If you’ve ever installed a door handle before, you can do this. Aesthetically, the handle (I got the brushed aluminum one) looks clean and professional. Illumination looks nice and is clearly visible in daylight and in the dark. The default beep sound was set to high and a bit loud, but is adjustable (low, med, high, silent) and i found medium to be decent. Low would work if you want to be extremely discrete. Overall an excellent product at this price, as long as you are aware of its limitations (or perhaps you dread having a door lock being connected to the internet, in which case this is a strength. )

Bought two of these units, I'd love to see Wifi for integration into Smart Hubs (Alexa). Bluetooth is pointless and doesn't work, even close to Alexa or Google Home. Another aspect of the door which I think needs improvement is recharging via the Micro-USB input, it doesn't charge my recharge batteries. With that being said, the units Bio-Metrics works really well, as does the app for temp passwords for Airbnb guests. Installation is pretty straight forward and I didn't require any mods. Battery use is awesome to this stage, it seems to last with rechargable batteries for 2 months with constant use.
