Mitsubishi 12,000 Btu 23.1 Seer Single Zone Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioning System (AC only)

WARNING: Do not buy any Mitsubishi split air unit. Poor design allows small critters to get to control boards and short them out. And it happens very often. Mitsubishi has known about this for years and has refused to do anything about it. They will not pay for labor or parts when this happens and it costs up to $1500 to repair. Fujistsu, however, does warranty this.

it's heavenly

When this was installed, it worked great - for about 6 to 7 momths. I had a checkup done on it at 6 months & all went downhill. Whatever they sprayed on it made the condenser smoke & the indoor unit smell like glue. I had it checked out again & the most incompetent person comes out, then another, just to get the warranty to expire, and boom- condenser 'bad' and will be about 500 because labor is not included in warranty. Not only that, they take their sweet time ordering the part so it feels like 90 for a couple weeks. No care at all! Mitsubishi/Trane knows their products are crap that is why there is only 1 year labor warranty- so the repairman can charge 50 an hr playing around with it. They know exactly what they are doing & what is wrong. This unit worked about 7 months. Get a fijitsu. They have 99% working rate and 5 year parts and labor warranty.

Motsubishi Split systems are amazing. We have had 2 in 2 different homes. They never failed. Quick cooling and heating as well !
