I picked this up to help reduce orange tones in my foundation, and it does the job. The consistency is nice — thin enough to blend easily but not watery. The applicator is handy, so you don’t need a brush or your fingers. Pros: • Effectively reduces orange pigmentation • Smooth, easy-to-blend consistency • Convenient applicator Cons: • Packaging feels a bit cheap • Runs out quickly if used daily — you might end up buying it twice Verdict: Good quality product that works as promised, but the small amount means it’s not great value if you plan to use it every day. I bought this product to try to cover the enlarged capillaries and general redness on the top and side of my cheeks, and I am very happy with it. The green colour neutralises the red, which is one of the reasons this product works well. Initially, when applied, the skin has a bit of a green tint, but that is how this kind of a product work. After a minute or two, the product blends in, and works with your skin resulting in the reduction in redness. There is no need to apply a foundation on top of it to cover the green tint. Only a tiny bit of a product is needed, and you can either dab it or rub it in; I combine the two. Once applied it is not greasy, and except for the reduction in redness, it is invisible; i.e. no one can see that anything was applied. Whilst applying It feels quite dry and I normally apply my regular moisturiser anyway, on top of it. Another reviewer suggested to apply a moisturiser before the corrector, which to me makes sense, so I'll try it that way too. Once applied my way, it lasts all day long, and it is easy to wash off in the evening. The price is very competitive and considering the tiny amounts you need to use, this is an excellent value for money product which I fully recommend.

The e.l.f. Color Corrector is a decent product, especially for its price. As someone with a dusky skin tone, it effectively hides black marks and helps cover dark circles under my eyes. However, it doesn’t work as well for pigmentation on my chin area, and sometimes it’s not as effective there. While it may not cover everything, it’s still an above-average product and provides good value for money. Overall, it’s a useful addition to my makeup routine.

I use this under my eyes and on any red areas before applying foundation. I just dab it on with the applicator and blend with a beauty blender & it really does help correct the colour and even out my skin tone. Make sure you pick the right shade for your complexion, I have very pale skin so the peach shade works perfectly for evening out my pale skin tone. The applicator pad makes it really easy to dab the product on without over applying. Great little product!

With cream correctors you often have to use your fingers, which isn’t always convenient, so this is much more handy. You only need a small amount and it does the job very well. It covers redness nicely, you just need to blend it in properly before applying foundation. Once blended, it looks natural and lasts well throughout the day.
