Cook an entire meal in this pot!
I had a bamboo steamer I used for over 30 years but it doesn't compare to this one!! This bamboo steamers has two sections which allows me to steam my crab legs or lobster tails in one and vegetables in the other at the same time. It has a steel piece that goes over your pot so it fits without letting steam drip outside the pot or onto your stove. It also comes with silicone inserts to keep the food off of the bamboo itself. Both of these make cleanup a breeze!! I couldn't be happy that I finally had to get rid of the old steamer and found this one!!

Does it's job
Does it's job. Directions says to air out for 2 days and I haven't had a problem.

Tradition and technology
Like it very much keep using it for steaming. Works so simply and the liners it comes with are a great value. I did receive one of the serving bowls as broken. Must have happened in transit as they were packed together as opposed to separating the two to be more shipping friendly.

Gave to brother as a gift. He loves it. Likes to do dumplings regularly.
