I had a seitan "rib" recipe that called for jackfruit, and this made it SO much easier as it's all cooked and seasoned. Once I sliced up the "ribs," they were seriously amazing. Both the vegans and non-vegans said they were the best. Served with potato salad and cornbread, it was a meal to remember. I'm grateful that we found these.

Strong taste and appears to be "breaded", and is definitely moist. Those who love it will inhale the bag in less than a minute while those who dislike it won't finish the first piece. No middle ground with opinions.

I tried jackfruit from a co-worker that she added bbq sauce to. I loved it do I found this ready to eat BBQ jackfruit. Not even close. I bought 3 packages & couldn't past a single bite out of one pouch. I may try adding something to see if I can tolerate the taste. I won't be buying this one again.

I didn't enjoy the taste or texture. Very easy to prepare. You may want to add to it and season for better taste... The texture is what it is...
