How much would I allow per person, planning for seven adults and seven kids?

392 grams is enough for three adults (with a good quantity of mashed potatoes and neeps. The kids would depend on how old and how much they eat. If you imagine that they would eat half of an adult portion, 4 tins (cans) should do. However, since the tins are so inexpensive, I would buy more to ensure that there are second helpings. Five tins should be enough.

Hi, once a tin is opened, how long will the contents be good in fridge? And can you put the contents in a container and freeze please? Thank you.

It will keep as long as any other processed meat item in the fridge. I suppose you could freeze it. But how come you are having any left over? I generally use it for a main course one day, and turn any leftover haggis into a soup for the next day. Makes a lovely, thick soup.

Can you microwave this product?

I can see no reason why not as you reheat on the stove in any case. I would do it on a low setting though as it's quite solid so will need time to break up before the heat penetrates the whole amount - low setting, frequent stirring to move the product around.

The haggis contains cereals with gluten. So it is not gluten free.
