hows this compare with the killer hog bbq rub? which is better?

This is a All Purpose Rub with a completely different flavor profile. This is Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powders and usually used as a pre Rub for most meats, excellent on burgers and a whole bunch of other foods.

I couldn’t tell, you but its good. If you watch How To BBQ Right on YouTube you’ll see he isn’t worried about carbs.

How does this compare to the TX rub?

AP has a lot more salt with pepper, garlic,and other spices. If you prefer more salt , then go with AP. TX has more pepper in place of salt.
