Super7 7 G.I. Joe MP Rifle (Brown) 3.75 in Reaction Figure

A great blast from the past. The card and figure look great and display very nicely. It's a wonderful item for collectors. As an actual toy for kids...I'm sure it's great, but it's pricey if you plan to buy several.

Don't know why but nostalgia took over and I ordered one to display in my office. It looks cool with some other eighties toys.

I picked up this GI Joe as a present for my nephew, and I had a flood of nostalgia when it arrived. The look and feel of this toy is identical to the GI Joe toys I had as a kid, down to the movements of the figurine and even the packaging! It is such a joy to see little ones enjoying the same type of toys I grew up with.Now this Cobra Trooper is in the mix with the 30+ year old GI Joe toys I handed down to my nephew... and based on the quality and durability of this trooper I suspect it will last long enough to be handed down by my nephew 20 to 30 years from now!I'm very glad I decided to pick this up - GI Joe toys never disappoint! 5/5 stars, easy!

The packaging for this Wave 5, G.I. Joe, “Cobra Trooper” action figure from Super 7 is very similar to the packages for the GI Joes I recall from the past. The cut-out GI Joe Command File is there, as well as the portraits of other figures available. The packaging is excellent. Now, what I did not notice when I ordered this action figure is that though the figure inside is about the same size as the GI Joe figures I recall from the 1980s and early 1990s, this figure has half as many articulating points. The legs and arms just swing back and forth, and the neck turns round. Even at those 5 points of articulation, the range of movement is more limited than that of the 80s-early 90s GI Joe figures. Still, the Cobra Trooper looks pretty decent, and I especially like the work down on the packaging. Just keep in mind, if like me, you are not familiar with this ReAction line of G.I. Joe action figures, that they have limited movement compared to those from the 80s-early 90s.
