Using it for dog training; it stays in place and my 20lb dog fits neatly on it.

Purchased as a step up to front of treadmill
For elders, this is a perfect addition to get onto a treadmill from the side where we can reach the hand rails, rather than from the back with no hand rails. it is strong, sturdy, and does not move around when stepped on. It breaks the space into two smaller steps to get on the treadmill. There are probably a dozen other applications, but this meets the specific need I was seeking.
