Q: This says it is 20,000gb which is 20tb not 2tb. what size is it?

Look up the model number - WD20EURX - it's a 2000Gb or 2TB Drive.. commonly used in hard disk video recorders etc.

Q: Can this hard disk be used as a backup storage drive for data files in a Tower desktop computer, Windows 10/11 Transfer speeds ?

I use them in my NAS for backing up my photos and videos (I'm a photographer), and they work very well. They are designed to be used with things like AV systems which put more load on a hard drive than your home computer would, so they are very robust so should work in the way you want to.

It would work however probably would not last too long. What is important for surveillance is the write Aspect. Surveillance drives are engineered to extremely high-grades, designed to be operated 24/7 for years on end without failure and without overheating. They write video data constantly all the time. Whereas a standard drive would last about less than a year and burn out. Probably best go with WD Purple for surveillance!
