Let the boy patch his own tire. Still holding. The other tire kit I bought was garbage. This one is the truth.

Better than expected

Doesn’t do the job.
I had a small hole in my bicycle tube and the small round patch was the perfect size. I cleaned the surface really good and scrubbed it very nicely with the provided sand paper. I attached the patch, pressed firmly for longer than the recommended 30 second. It seemed to hold nicely, so I proceeded to install the tube. All went well until I got the air pressure to about 50 psi. Then the tire went flat. Bummer! My tire requires 50-80psi.I decided to try it again with a little larger patch. Same procedure, but this time I let the patch sit for about 30 minutes before airing up the tube. This time, I filled the tube to around 30psi and let it sit for about an hour or so before checking it. It was holding air nicely, so I deflated it and installed the tube a second time. I decided to only fill it up to 40 psi and see how well it worked. All seemed well, so I installed the wheel and set the bike aside for a morning ride. Sadly, when I woke up in the morning it was flat.Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product even in emergency situations. I doubt it will last long enough to get you home from a ride.
