Happy with these inks decent quality & good price

These are probably very good cartridges but Epson has made a firmware update which now blocks 3rd party ink cartridges. This means that these are now useless to me as the printer does not recognise them and will not print anything at all. (Epson XP640.) If you buy any 3rd party, non Epson ink, you will need to block firmware updates and ensure you have an older firmware than the December 2025 release. I tried all the photo black cartridges supplied and none were registered by the printer. It reports the message "change cartridge" and shows an empty cartridge. This has rendered a perfectly good printer useless unless you use genuine Epson cartridges. Be careful if you buy these cartridges - they may be useless because of Epson's new approach. I have also seen that other printer manufacturers are implementing similar policies. Update to this: I bought a new Epson printer in January 2026 and blocked all firmware updates. Software updates are fine. These cartridges work well in that printer. The ink quality is good and it is perfect for my needs. Very good value if your printer accepts them.

Good quality in always fast delivery

These are used in an Epson 900 for all sorts of printing. They seem to work every bit as well as the other non original cartidges, and even weigh the same. I cannot compare them against Epson originals as I have never used an Epson original cartridge since the printer was new. These have already lasted longer than the originals did. The printer is used to print transparencies as well as photos and documents these are for light boxes and UV cured photo resist for making electronic printed circuit boards. The density of the black is fine for coated transparency film (blue cast) but as found with all makes of cartrige, a double pass is required to provide acceptable light blocking for illuminated signs using the clear transparency (OHP) film. Most printers use pigment inks which don't really work on transparency film so these dye based inks are the ones to get. Overall, they have performed well and as expected. Photos seem to work fine on plain paper. The image is printed on glossy premium inkjet with default settings on everything other than paper type. It's not really a true assessment as its lit with LED lighting, at an angle, through a phone camera, compressed by Amazon, displayed on a screen, but at least it demonstrates that the cartridges do work. I would say that there's a slight green cast to the blacks, but so much depends on settings etc.

I needed to replace my black ink cartridge so I ordered these Jagute cartridges even though they came as a set including Cyan Magenta and Yellow. I replaced the black and printed a document. It was absolutely perfect so I am confident that, when required, all the colors will be just as good.
