Purchased as a present
Excellent service from seller. As it was a present I can't comment further until it has been used. It seems to be as described and fit for purpose as a day rucksack

Described as "rose red" BUT is VERY PINK
Lightweight and thin not heavy duty & rigid as assumed. Personally I'd say it's more ideal as a school or lightweight travel bag rather than long outdoor hikes.

Lots of pockets!
The hiking backpack is armed with loads of pockets for am the bits you need for your hike. Many deep compartments for water, snacks and any additional equipment. It comes with a removable rain cover to keep your backpack and contents dry.The backpack has connecting shoulder straps with a built in whistle if you get lost. And additional waist straps so the heavy load in your backpack is easier to carry. The backpack is nice but I felt slightly disappointed as some other hiking ones I've tried in the past have been "convertible" in the sense that I'm able to use it for every day travel and hiking. The waist strap for example is securely sewn into the backpack so this makes the design unsuitable for using during the work week. Another backpack I've owned had this strap removable. Also while the backpack had many compartments for things you may take on your travels. It’s still didn’t have enough compartments for every day life for example an area to keep small toiletries, like lip balm, or a secure laptop compartment. Overall nice bag that feels sturdy and strong but it loses a star for its versatility.

Great beginner hiking bag or EDC
For the price this is a great little bag. Lots of features thrown in for such a low price and to be honest they have done a nice job, the buckles seem good quality as do the zips. The bag material is quite light but then this is no expedition level bag it would be ideal for an everyday carry piece that will store all manner of things dependant on your requirements. You’d get a laptop in here, water bladder complete with a straw/mouthpiece holder on the shoulder strap. Loads of compartments, even compartments on the waist band ideal for quick access to snacks, keys etc. It practically has all of the features you’d expect to see on a top end bag but on a budget. The styling isn’t bad either, decent colour scheme and fairly discrete logo. Overall a well made budget do it all rucksack. Ideal for day walking the fells or using for work or college. Nice.

Not bad as a daypack or work bag - YTL Hiking Backpack 40L Waterproof Lightweight Hiking Daypack
With its main compartment, secondary external compartment, small compartment and an open topped pocket down the back it has all sorts of storage. It has a pocket inside to take a laptop, though my only gripe about that is that the layer separating it from other contents of that compartment is one thin piece of fabric, not padded at all. The back of the rucksack is padded so that offers support to the wearer and the laptop inside, but not internally padded. It also has zipped pockets on the waist pads, which I find jolly handy. Oh, and there are bottle pockets on both sides too!Quality is pretty good, though I can't vouch for how long it might last under load. Time will well in that regard, but should I find it failing and the stitching coming apart I'll surely update here!Overall a pretty well made and well thought out rucksack, with its pockets and compartments and the load bearing tensioning straps on the sides and bottom it makes for a good bag. Ideal for a trek, day out, work or school methinks.

Shoulder straps too close together at top
It is a good size so can carry all the stuff we need for the whole family. The different pockets make it easy to find stuff and the side water bottle pockets mean I don’t have to stop to have a drink. But very strange design of the placement of the shoulder straps at the top of the bag. There is no gap between them at the top where they are stitched to the bag. Really uncomfortable around the neck and felt scratchy just from trying on so absolutely no good for wearing any length of time.
