Cheaply made. It's in my trash can now.
Absolute garbage. Picture one of those "$1.00 for anything in this box" displays at some stores. Now imagine that there is another box next to it that has tools deemed not good enough for the $1.00 for anything display.Imagine that box has a sign that says "we'll pay you a dollar if you take this tool". That is where you would look for this POS excuse for a tool.Whats wrong with it?1. The pins are not even close to being in spec. I spent an hour filing and sanding them down.2. After making the pins fit, more or less, I squeezed the handle. The very loose fitting jaws popped up and out of the pins.3. Finally, by using the third hand I'm blessed with, (if you are not so blessed, I don't know what you're going to do. Maybe have someone lend you one theirs) I was able to compress the clip, but the handle promptly bent and the ring snapped back into place.4. I straighted the handles, used my third hand to keep the jaws from popping up, got a bite of the clip, and...... the pins are so far apart that it would not even compress the clip enough for it to clear the channel.I would say that you get what you pay for, but not in this case. I wouldn't take it again if you gave me a buck. It's not worth a dollar for me to walk out to the trash can with it.

Sizes not versatile, cheap quality.
Although this set appears to accommodate multiple sizes of snap rings, the attachments in my set all appear to be about the same size, and they were all too large for the snap rings I needed to work with (for repairing noisy drum rollers in our clothes dryer). Plus the tips were ragged, not smooth. I ended up purchasing a different set from Harbor Freight for around $12, and they served my needs perfectly. I should have returned this item when I had the chance. I do not recommend this product.

I neither of the heads were for rings with 1mm ...
I neither of the heads were for rings with 1mm holes. Ended up buying the exact same one at the hardware store for twice as much just because it came with a head for 1mm holes. I would not buy this tool again not only because I did not get a head that fit my retaining ring, but I really needed it as a 90 degree but it only comes as one of the straight.

The heads don't fit the handles right and slip off easily. The ends aren't straight
I have to agree with the other reviews, which I could kick myself for not reading before I bought these. I was in a hurry and they were cheap. However they aren't worth a dime if they don't work. The heads don't fit the handles right and slip off easily. The ends aren't straight. There were supposed to be two different size straight head and the straight heads are the same size. Worse thing I've ever bought on Amazon.

Junk pliers. Don't bother buying these.
These snap ring pliers are absolute junk. The switchable heads don't fit correctly so they do not stay straight and wobble on the pliers while you are trying to remove a snap ring. Complete junk and went straight to the trash.

This is mostly junk, except for extremely light duty
The heads fit very loosely on the pins, and twist when actually compressing the ring. This makes them either pop out of the ring, or just pop off the pliers. The twisting (I suspect) makes the pin that holds them on extremely hard to get in and out, so changing heads becomes impossible (I needed to use vice grips to get it out). Even if you manage to get a bite on the ring, the pins aren't angled at all, so if you're compressing an interior ring, when you try to pull it out of its fitting, the plier pins pop right out of the ring. This might be fine for a super lightweight snap ring, but is pretty much garbage for anything else.

Not bad pliers, not great, but worth every penny to me...
These are just 'okay', not 'great', not the highest quality, but for the price they are certainly a decent product. The precision of the jaws closure is not bad, i.e., they can grip a piece of paper tight, which is better than many (conventional straight-nosed) needle nose pliers I've looked at in a variety of stores. They are certainly not 'bad' or 'terrible' pliers, which kinda surprised me, i.e., I thought I might have to return them, but I took a chance and bought them because of the low-price. I'm happy with them because they fit my needs.
