Fantastic find
Learned about this fertilizer from some flower farmers in India/Pakistan on YouTube. Currently, alternating between Miracle Grow and mustard cake powder on Fertilizer Friday, my little pansies are blooming like gangbusters. Can't wait to try it on the annuals and perennials on my mini flower farm next spring.

Excited about this slow-releasing organic fertilizer
I had been looking at trying mustard powder for my garden, so I was happy to see this product and ordered it. It is known to be a good source of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, along with organic matter to improve soil fertility and promote plant growth. It’s too early in the season for me to rate those aspects.I noted that his product was made from cakes verse 100% seed. This does make it unique because the mustard cake contains a higher amounts of residual oil and protein compared to mustard seed powder. It also releases nutrients gradually over time as it decomposes in the soil, providing a slow-release fertilizer effect.I am also looking forward to enhance pest control properties. Mustard cake is often considered more effective due to its higher concentration of bioactive compounds. It can act as a natural pesticide and soil fumigant, helping to control pests and diseases.I used gloves and eye mask when applying. It is a skin an eye irritant.

This large bag should last all summer long
This mustard cake powder arrived in a strong well-sealed bag without any spillage problems, I’m looking forward to seeing results on this year’s tomato, eggplant, and pepper crops in particular. The easiest way to use it: sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the mustard cake powder around a plant, then water it in. Nothing could be easier. This giant bag will undoubtedly last all summer so I’ve transferred some of it into pint Mason jars for use in the garden. I could definitely see myself forgetting the bag outside, then having it rained on — I will not let this happen this year, so only waterproof Mason jars with this powder will leave this house! I will try to provide an update several months from now to report actual results with my vegetable plants, until then I’m already very pleased to have an organic alternative fertilizer on hand.

Plants Are Greening Up & Perkier Than Prior To Use
This mustard fertilizer is amazing stuff. I must admit that prior to reading about this I was completely ignorant of such a thing. Now we are big fans!It is so easy to use, too - much appreciated.Anything that we use in our garden must be as natural as possible and this fits the bill.Fascinating that something so simple can be used to fertilize plants; but I am a believer now.Within a couple days of applying this topically to the soil around certain plants they greened up and got perkier! So we definitely will be using this often in our garden and with our potted plants and ordering more.Amazing that somebody figured out ages ago how beneficial this is to plants and to the soil of course!

Seems alright
Fertilizer is something I'm still learning only being a second year gardener and this is alright in my opinion, I have noticed a huge difference like I did last year with another kind but weather and other circumstances could be the reason. I did notice that is caused by soil to mold really badly so I suggest mixing it with water or soil really well.
