Very good strimmer line 👍

For less than £4.00 at the time of this review, this is very good value. I use it on my GL 360 Black & Decker trimmer, which I reviewed last year. It has a bump-feed feature that I thought would be troublesome, but turned out to be reliable, although that was with the OEM line.When the original line expired a week or two ago, I thought about buying a complete new GL 360 spool & line set, but decided to give the ALM line a go first, as it was cheap & there are 30 metres of it, compared with 6 metres of OEM line at nearly £10.00 (although there are pattern versions of this available at a cheaper price).I expected to have problems with the bump-feed, as all of these damned strimmers seem to be afflicted with feed problems when a replacement line is fitted. No, I was pleasantly surprised! The bump-feed works just as well as before, & the line is reasonably tough: at least as good as the line supplied with the strimmer. It tends to fray a bit more easily though, but this doesn't affect the cut.It has a nice little benefit for any motorcycle petrol head: when the line frays, it sounds just like Jim Redman's Honda six screaming down the mountain at the IOM! Happy days.

After running out of strimmer line on my new strimmer, and seeing the prices of official line replacement, I decided to try this as it’s much, much cheaper and you get 30 metres as opposed to 15 metres which a lot of the official ones are.I cut some of this off and fitted it, making sure to wrap the line in the same direction of the arrows on the reel. No problems whatsoever. Strimming with this new line didn’t seem any different to the old line to me, except that it’s a much cheaper replacement! It’s the same thickness and seems just as efficient.The only thing you will need is some sort of bag or storage for the spare line you have left as there is NO way this will go back into the original packaging it comes in! But at this price, who cares?A great, cheap replacement that does the job just fine!

Used to cut the grass in awkward places. Seems fairly robust. Bought this before and will buy again

A great product for light strimmer use only.Don't use it on thick stems as it will snap

Good but not the best

I have not used just yet but it looks ok and it’s only going on my electric strimmer only time will tell.

Second time I have bought this. It does the job well.
