Lovely way to encourage drawing
My near 5yo granddaughter loved this when she opened it on Christmas morning. She only had to be shown once how to position the acetate sheets and she has been drawing with it since. Really pleased with my purchase.

Super robust and works well
The media could not be loaded. The video goes into much more detail, including everything you get in the box in detail, allowing you to see exactly what you're getting for the money. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Very well made - really sturdy, solid plastic that will withstand rough treatment.+ Works extremely well. Very simple but effective tool for young children.Things I didn't like:- Perhaps a little pricey.Do I recommend it?Absolutely. It's really well made and the very effective design enabled my children to use it with ease.

Step by step
This learn to draw kit comes with a machine that can be really useful to help little ones learn to to draw and follow lines. There are a load of stencils included that have different characters on them. They are broken down into beginning, middle and end. This allows you to shine them on to a piece of paper for you to draw over.I really love the creative freedom of this as it helps you draw the main character but allows you to also draw the background and have fun.

Great fun
Although the age range advises from 4 years plus, my 3 year old grandson road tested the Galt Learn to Draw Lightbox. The set contains one drawing board, a pack of thirty drawing templates, ten background sheets, a pen and instructions. You insert a template into the rotating ring at the bottom of the board and switch on the light. This shines through the template enabling the child to trace the image that is projected onto the paper that is laid on top.Although my grandson is a little young, it was still an excellent learning tool for him as well as being fun. His hand/eye coordination began to improve as did his ability to follow the image as he went through the steps. Up until now his ‘colouring in’ skills consisted of various bright crayons being enthusiastically scribbled on paper, but this has begun to teach him some control over lines and shapes. It requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied) and it might be a good idea to check that it’s turned off after use, so it doesn’t drain them.A great fun learning/play product which I would recommend.I received this product as part of the Amazon Vine programme. My review is independent and unbiased, based only on my personal experience of the product.

An easy way to learn to draw, just like tracing but better
Galt Toys, Learn to Draw, Step-by-Step LightboxWhat a great idea this is, it takes tracing to a whole new level. When I was a child the thing I most enjoyed was drawing and colouring, I'm sure the same can be said of most children. How this works is that a pack of drawing templates are included in the box, just insert one of those into the rotating ring in the base of the drawing board and switch on, a light shines through the template and onto the paper that you lay on top. Just follow the lines on the image that is projected onto the paper to create your drawing. In the box are a pack of 30 templates, there are 3 difficulty levels so you have 10 of each level. Each template has 4 images of the same subject, each adding a little more detail so a child can build up their picture in easy stages. Also included are background sheets which you add your drawings to, you can also use plain drawing paper if you wish. A single marker pen is included, but pens or pencils can also be used with this if you wish. The drawing board is made from colourful plastic, it has a carry handle built in for transportation. On top is a lift up clear plastic drawing surface, just lay your drawing paper on top. This does require 4 x AA batteries which are not included. I suspect rechargeable batteries would be the best choice here as a child will likely forget to turn this off thus draining the batteries rather quickly.Overall this is a great fun drawing board that is easy to use, it will help teach a child how to guide a pencil around a given shape. The box describes this as being suitable for 4 years plus, with the Amazon listing stating it's suitable for 4 - 7 years old which I would agree with.CONTENTS:1 x Drawing Board30 x Templates1 x Black Marker10 x Background Sheets1 x InstructionsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.
