The quality is outstanding, the installation was quick and easy, and it fits my Herman Miller chair perfectly. It looks like it was designed by Herman Miller themselves. The comfort improvement is remarkable, especially during long hours of work. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Highly recommended! Review: Perfect add-on - At first it seemed weird that the only adjustment I could make was UP or DOWN - then it made sense. Now I love it! The lowest position allows my head and back to be correctly aligned. Now after a few days, I can no longer consider having my chair without it! When I’m seated, the alignment gives me the authoritative posture. I can also rest when the chair is reclined. No sense of pressure at all anywhere. The add-on hanger is a plus too! It gets rid of the unsightly clothing (e.g. jackets, sweaters) that I tend to hang on the chair. It has been one of the coolest, ergonomic, and functional items I’ve purchased as of late. Go get yours! ## Features - For Classic Aeron Owners Only: You invested in a Herman Miller Classic Aeron (1994-2016), and this headrest finishes it. It fits sizes A, B and C, and only that chair. It will not fit the Aeron Remastered, other Herman Miller models or other office chairs. - Classic or Remastered? It is a Classic if bought new before late 2016, with an even mesh weave and a joint with exposed screws behind the seat. Remastered chairs have zoned mesh, a smooth triangular joint and often two lower-back pads. - Supports Your Head and Neck: Raise the headrest 6 to 9 inches above the backrest, tilt the cushion 36 degrees and angle the neck joint up to 76 degrees. The hinge locks in place without rattling, so it stays put through long workdays at your desk. - Breathable Mesh, Matching Look: Black polyester mesh on a graphite nylon frame keeps air moving and blends in with the original Classic Aeron finish. A removable coat hanger on the back keeps your jacket off the floor and wrinkle-free. - Easy, Scratch-Free Install: Attaches to the Aeron back frame in minutes with the included hardware and instructions. No drilling and no permanent changes to your chair. Designed in New York, USA, and protected by US Design Patent D1,055,607. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BZGLD1RH | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #31,434 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #768 in Office Furniture Accessories | | Brand | ERGOKING | | Brand Name | ERGOKING | | Color | Black Classic | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 175 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Polyester | | Fill Material | Memory Foam | | Included Components | User Manual | | Item Highlight | Height and tilt adjustable, breathable mesh, removable coat hanger. I hesitated to spend more than twice the amount on the Herman Miller OEM version, so I decided to try this one even though there were only 26 reviews. As others have mentioned, the color is not an exact match (lighter gray in my case), but I think only the most diehard Herman Miller connoisseurs would notice the difference. It was easy to install but included hex key tool was a little large for the screws. This could be due to excess paint on the head of the screws. The instructions are a little confusing, especially the first step, which tells you to look for a mounting hole on your chair (there is no hole on your chair; it is in the headrest frame itself). The headrest frame clamps on the back of the chair easily. You can adjust the tilt, but these screws are tight, and the included hex key is not great, so use caution so you don't strip the hex head. Maybe use your own hex keys. It didn't use the included stainless steel logo plate to cover the hole in the coat hanger. I think it looks fine without it, and I want to be able to remove the coat hanger in the future if needed. The coat hanger has no problem keeping my sweaters off the floor, and now you cannot see them during video conference calls. Overall, it was a great upgrade for the price. Versus the OEM version, I think you are just missing the lever allowing tilt adjustment on the fly. ## Frequently Bought Together - ERGOKING Headrest Attachment Compatible with Herman Miller Aeron Fully Adjustable Height & Tilt, Removable Coat Hanger Available Color for Classic. - The Office Oasis Original Rollerblade Office Chair Wheels (As Seen On PBS) - Smooth & Quiet Casters - Safe for Hardwood Floors & Carpet - Easy Installation with Universal Fit - Set of 5 - Black - Seat Pad Foam Insert Replacement for Herman Miller Classic Aeron Office Chair A B C Size (Black, A/B) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/522112413-headrest-for-herman-miller-classic-aeron-chair-adjustable-height](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/522112413-headrest-for-herman-miller-classic-aeron-chair-adjustable-height) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
