Great product - light weight, easy to use
Great little hoover, works well with a fantastic suction/brush combo. The only issue I have it that it is not all that great on thinner rung steps, and that the container for the rubbish is a bit small. Good battery life and quick to charge - great price too.

Good machine
An excellent machine. Easy to use and very lightweight. The machine is easy to empty and because the motor is in the base, it does not fall over when you let go of it. It is powerful and has a run time of approx 50 mins.

Some very basic bad design issues.
Bought as a gift for mother in law. If it was for my own use I would send it back and I am not sure how she is going to cope with it. I went over the product with her and when comparing it to other cleaners this has a few bad basic design floors. Firstly and most annoyingly the sliding button to turn it on is very very very difficult to move, my wife couldn't even get it to budge (her finger just slipped off it). I'm cool with moving 100kg loads on my own and I found just turning it on very taxing. I overcame this terrible design floor by sticking a rubber foot on it (shown in the photo). Secondly removing the brush bar is difficult and fiddly - it has to be rotated correctly to get it out. Getting it back in is equally a pain. Lastly the dust holder filter is tricky to get out, the clips are just too tight.I guess the cleaner is designed for strong young adults - in my opinion most women with grandchildren will struggle with it.Getting the hoover head to go where you want also takes some effort - you near enough have to force/lift it. You can move the arm easily in any direction but this will not make the head change direction until you force it a little.Using the hoover on a flat/hard floor is an experience. It's like a car going over railway tracks. I think it's the rubber suction bits at the bottom. On the forward stroke they work okay but when you pull back they are being forced in the opposite direction and grip then release.Hoovering carpets isn't much better - it's actually very very jumpy on the backward stroke (i only tried it on a rug). So forwards is smoothish but backwards it's a joke.Suction is poor when on setting 1. (without brush bar for hard floors) - my wife has hair dryers with more blow than this. When on setting 2. (with the brush bar designed for carpets) the suction increases and it is just about okay.Advert says " two power settings" which is not true. There are not 2 power settings. There is just one setting for hard floors (no brush bar) and one setting for carpets (with brush bar turning)Also LED lights only work when brush bar is working. So if you are hoovering a hard floor don't expect the lights to work (so that photo it shows in the advert is false)Sorry I'm only a 1 start or 5 star sort of person when it comes to leaving feedback and this is a one star. How on earth anyone would give this 5 star and from the 5 star comments I read they were obviously having a joke or simply not being truthful (i guess being given a freebie it's hard to leave poor feedback)

Excelled my expectations!!
This hoover is a marvel! Excellent for Lino and short and thick pile carpet. I love this, I have a ladbrador and she molts terrible and this pick up with ease. I guess the only disadvantage is that there are no tools to get into tricky corners, I don’t have stairs so I couldn’t comment on it in that regard. Excellent lighting on the front for my sons bedroom and points out all the bits that you might ordinarily miss. Excellent hoover better than my mums cordless expensive brand as you don’t have to keep you finger on the button to keep it on. She loved it so much she’s bought one for upstairs. For the price this hoover is top notch!!

Ok for simple cleaning tasks but not worth the normal retail price
I bought this vacuum for a £60 and this should be taken into account with my review. Had I paid the normal price, I'd have returned it as not worth the price. For what I paid, I decided to keep it.In more detail:Good things:I wasn't sure whether a cordless vaccum would be worth having in addition to my normal vacuum, but it is. This vacuum is light, easy to move around and use on a daily basis, for a quick clean. It gets under low furniture quite well and does an acceptable job of lifting dirt and dust. If I use this regularly, I can whizz around the house in 10 to 15 minutes, leaving a more thorough clean to my main vaccum. Easy to empty dust compartment when full. A little point I like: there are lights on the front which come in handy and highlight dirt/dust to be picked up, particularly in dark areas.More detail:Bad things:It's not very adaptable. Difficult to store as it doesn't collapse/fold down. Unattractive charging and questionable overall design. It doesn't always lift things from the carpet without repeated attempts as not nearly as powerful as my main vacuum. I can't imagine it would last 50 minutes before recharging as the advertising suggests. It starts to lose some power after running for much less than that. I've only had it a couple of weeks, and though light to handle, it doesn't feel particularly robust. The switch is badly designed and difficult to use as my finger slips on it. I wouldn't be surprised if something on it breaks at some point - the switch? ball joint? etc Time will tell. It only works as an upright, no good for stairs. It doesn't pick up right up to the edges and won't get into the trickiest of places. The compartment that stores the collected dust is very small and needs frequent emptying. For the normal price, I wouldn't recommend. Much better would be a vacuum with greater flexibility and attachments. This feels like a designer's early attempt at a battery powered vacuum when all they've done is create a simple conventional vacuum without a power cord. I imagine there are much more flexible alternatives, but likely cost quite a bit more than I paid. Why is there such a premium on vacuum cleaners these days? Conclusion: useful for a quick easy vacuum but not deep cleaning. Disappointing and inflexible design and capabilities. Get it at a bargain price, but look for better if you're happy to pay a bit more.
