My 9 year old is pale and burns easily. But he loves being in the ocean. He spent the past week at surf camp from 12-3pm and wore these patches under his eyes every day. I made sure his skin was clean and dry, applied the patches, and then applied mineral sunscreen everywhere else on his face and ears. Some of the sunscreen got onto the patches, but I rinsed the patches each night with hand soap and that cleaned them off. The patches stayed in place during 3 hours of surfing, and my son didn't get a sun burn. AMAZING!!! 1 pair of patches worked for all 5 days and we will keep using this same pair until we notice a loss of stickiness or sun protection. I did read the reviews about the patches falling off in water, or being difficult to use in conjunction with sunscreen. I'm going to guess this is user error. Yes, if the skin is wet when you apply the patch, it will slide around. Make sure the skin is clean and dry. But once they are on, don't worry about getting sunscreen on top of them. It won't affect the stickiness and you can clean it off after use. I only wish they came in more colors. I'd love orange and blue!

These patches were great to protect an under eye surgery scar from sun exposure. I took them to Florida and they worked great. Sweat did make it loose but they are reusable. Just clean it off and reapply.

These don't stay on well -- specially if you're sweating or have oily skin.

I really like using these while walking my dog, they fit perfectly on the tops of my cheekbones where i have and get the most sun damage. They work best on a clean dry face, no moisturizer, after they are securely on where you want them put on the sunscreen everywhere else. Its important for them not to be oily to stick so after you are done use regular soap, like bar hand soap to wash your hands then use the same soap to gently wash them under warm water and lay them down to air dry somewhere sticky side up. Once dry just put them back on the plastic sheet and you are done. Are they a bit strange looking? Maybe Do i need to look perfect while walking my dog? No Have had the same pack for a few months without having to replace it at all.

i think these are great but I didn’t think they’d be as wide as they are. I had thought that they’d be a bit on the smaller side but to be fair the eye area does extend a bit further down and maybe some prefer wider protection. My preference is smaller! nonetheless, they do what they say they do, id hope! no way to know. They do rewash as label says! they’re expensive though… i don’t know if id rebuy again due to the price and size.

After being diagnosed with Lupus and being extremely sun sensitive, I scoured the internet for all things sun protection and came across these. After trying I have nothing, but positive things to say - I LOVE them! The adhesive is non irritating (I have very sensitive skin) and can stand the test of sweat and extended periods of time. It perfectly protects my most vulnerable areas and I don’t have to stress about reapplying or pretty much any sun damage occurring. I have worn them on runs, hikes, the beach and have come away perfectly protected after many hours of sun exposure! They also are reusable and durable. Initially, I was a little hesitant to wear in public, but have received nothing but compliments and “where can I get some” remarks. Absolutely love this product and couldn’t recommend more!

I love the idea of these in theory. You are supposed to wear them on clean skin which makes putting sunscreen on the rest of your face nearly impossible unless you don't mind sunscreen all over the silicone patches. There are no instructions on how to clean the patches or why you can use them for only 4 uses. Is it because it loses it's sunscreen effectiveness or is it because the patch loses its adhesion? I found that mine would continue to stick for more than 4 uses. However, if you sweat a lot, they slide all over the place even if brand new which defeats the purpose. The also wrinkle over the cheek bones letting sun in which conceivably would diminish the sunblocking. I have a small face and found the patches to be smaller than I wanted. I think they worked and I didn't have any weird tan lines so obviously it wasnt any better or worsw than the sunscreen on the rest of my face. Overall, a great idea that doesn't quite live up to its promise.

I do a lot of fly fishing. I have extreme sun sensitivity on my face, and sun screen hasn’t been working. I recently tried these patches, and they worked! No sun rash on my face. I wore them for several hours on the water. They were a little uncomfortable at first, but after a couple of hours I forgot they were there. I peeped them off when I was done and put them back in the package. I’ve reused them, and they’re just like they were the first time I used them. Highly recommend giving these a try.

Lo usé para tapar un tatuaje reciente y fui a la playa, el 1o se resbaló super fácil, pero fue mi culpa, hay que dejar la piel limpia, sin alguna crema o algo antes de aplicar el parche, si se hace asi, resiste sudor, agua de mar y calor. Me funcionó perfecto una vez lo use así
