Recently purchased a 57" fire pit table by East Oak and given the climate I live in, a wind guard is almost necessary. If I'm to have one complaint, it's that I wish East Oak would include the wind guard with their tables by default. That being said, I have seen East Oak tables sold with the wind guard and without the wind guard, so it's not like the option isn't available.Anyway, assembly was a breeze, consisting of sliding four glass plates into thick metal corner pieces and securing them with several tightening screws. Both the metal and glass look and feel very solid, and the wind guard was the perfect size for my East Oak table.Does it block the wind from blowing out my table's flame? Yes. Does it look good on the table? Yes. Just be aware that if you decide that you don't want to use the wind guard, there's nowhere under the table where you can store this. The one door on the side of the table opens up to access the 20 lb propane tank, and there is not enough space to slide the wind guard past this. There's a lot of space on the other side of the propane tank, but to access that, you'd have to physically lift the entire table up, and then slide the wind guard in. Not something I would recommend. On the plus though, if you purchase the matching East Oak cover, it's tall enough so that it perfectly covers the table and wind guard together, all without leaving excess cover material laying on the ground. Perhaps something to consider if you want the "full set" of the table, wind guard, and table cover.

This was one of the most affordable glass wind protectors I could find on Amazon. I was kind of nervous because it was only 4 inches tall and a lot of the other ones were 6 inches plus however this works perfectly. It also shipped very well packaged and nothing was broken, I highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable option for your fire pit.

Simple design and well crafted. The pocket screws are a little hard to get in at first. would be nice if they included a tool for them. Comes with extra parts++!

Excellent product! Heavy weight glass so it doesn't move around easily. We bought the 4" wind guard because we are using it on an outdoor dining table.
