Fascinating and educational
Fascinating gift for my grand daughter who plays regularly with it and loves the generated light effects

Small but cute
Smaller than I expected, and it rarely makes any interesting reflection even in direct sunlight. But it's cute, and interesting, and makes a nice addition to any flat surface.

Nice - but not as magically as the advert.
You don't get streams of light like you do in the adverts But it's pretty enough for some sunlight to hit and produce some colours .

It's glass, not plastic. Refracts light beautifully.
That one was for me 😃 I couldn't resist the colour plays inside this mini cube and the different shapes when the light refracts through it. Very cute.

Gorgeous
Bought a few of these for an art piece and i absolutely love them. They are so beautiful to just look at and move around and watch the light and colours they produce. My favourite purchase of 2024

It's small and shiny.
It's made it glass and does it he things suggested in the advert. Not a toy.

I gave this to my son for his 4th birthday. He's had it for over 2 months now and still likes to carry it around and show it to people. It is both educational and beautiful. The crystal is very clear and when you shine a flashlight (or sunlight) through it on one of the correct sides, it beams colored spectrum light onto the surrounding walls/room. The crystal has 2 crisscrossing planes inside of it that form a 3-dimensional X within the cube. These provide the refracting capabilities and also why you have to shine the light in the correct direction through the crystal for it to show the spectrum. Overall, a neat gift to give to a child which can also be used to educate them on the light spectrum.

This thing is way more beautiful than it shows in the pics! Do not expect a traditional pure prism, this is not that. Each facet has filters that filter out and reflect a specific wavelength/color of light. Sometimes you can witness TIR or Total Internal Reflection too if you have the angle right, which is super cool to me as an optics nerd (Schmidt-Pechan vs Abbe Koenig prisms in binoculars, telescopes, etc) Its just a really pretty trinket, but not a traditional "rainbow" prism so dont expect that. I would buy again, I got the 25mm cube, thinking about getting the polyhedron now. It is so beautiful in sunlight and fun to play with different colors of lasers. But be careful in sunlight or with lasers! Wear eye protection! Some reflections can catch you off guard and are not necessarily what you would expect! Be careful. But its beautiful and packaged nicely. Only room for improvement would be if it came in a small velvet/microfiber sack or with a cloth to keep fingerprints off. Or a 3 pronged stand on which to hold it up, off centered. So cool to watch it in the light and turn it and see from different angles.

Made of glass this prism is precious! I have it on a table and it always surprises me with a colorful display. Obviously not a toy for small children but a joy to have in my home!

Beautiful optic glass prism. Doesn’t reflect colors very strong, but looking through, it refracts light beautifully.
