AlpineILX-W650 7" Anti-Glare Capacitive Touchscreen Multimedia Receiver (Does Not Play CDs) with License Plate Camera

This Alpine iLX-W650 was a serious upgrade installed into a 2011 C6 Corvette and the quality and the performance of this head unit made very up to date to compare with the original units in these Vettes. Most Vette owners will know exactly what I’m talking about when it comes down to the original audio in these Vettes!! Other than this Alpine head unit sounds great, but it’s easy to use with your Apple car play, for which I have because of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and connectivity with the rear camera that came with it and other features on this Alpine head unit made it a worthwhile overdue purchase. C6 Vette owners I would highly recommend that if you do purchase this Alpine head unit, purchase the RP5-GM11 radio replacement interface kit, PAC TR4 remote turn-on interface, and the Metra 95-3304 dash faceplate kit because it will keep your steering wheel controls and the actual stereo connection will be plug and play. As for options with this Alpine head unit, the Sirius satellite radio tuner SXV300V1 would be the choice or you can use the Apple car play with the Sirius app. Also, there is an amplifier that you can connect to the rear of this Alpine head unit, KTA-450 amplifier, which together as a powerful and compact solution. But, my advice is do all of your research first before adding these options and good luck if you decide to make a purchase for this Alpine iLX-W650 head unit!!!

Seems like they last for a couple years. Amps start to act up. Volume goes full blast or nothing at all. On my forth unit so far.

Radio works great

Camera provided good pictures, however the lens are susceptible to collecting moisture on the inside of the lens.
