We bought these to replace the old wired patio lights we used around our RV, and it ended up being a great upgrade. The biggest advantage is not having to deal with extension cords or finding an outlet anymore. Since these are solar powered, we can hang them wherever we want around the awning area and they work perfectly. One feature I really like is the dual charging option. Most of the time the solar panel keeps them charged just fine during the day, but it’s nice knowing you can use the USB charging option if you have a stretch of cloudy weather at the campground. That flexibility is really helpful when traveling. The remote control is also a great touch. Being able to change brightness levels, switch between lighting modes, and even set a timer without getting up is super convenient when we’re relaxing outside in the evening. The brightness settings are nice too—soft for ambient lighting or brighter when you want more light around the RV. One thing to note, these are manual lights - meaning they do not automatically come on. Once on, you can set the timer for how long to stay on. The lights themselves look great and give off a warm, cozy glow that’s perfect for evenings at the campsite. They’re bright enough to enjoy the space without being harsh. Overall, these were an excellent replacement for our wired RV lights. They’re easy to install, flexible to use, and the solar/USB combo makes them reliable even when the weather isn’t perfect. If you’re looking for simple outdoor lighting for an RV, patio, or campsite, these are definitely worth checking out.

Really bright lights, last most of the night. We put them on our back deck and they are beautiful! I’ve had them for a few months now and not had any issues.

My nephew unboxed these (3 boxes to go around my small backyard which totals around 150 feet in perimeter) and had them up in minutes. I think it took him 30 minutes total (and that was with contemplation and whimzey putting them up) putting them up and together. He has 3 attached and 1 remote controls all! There are multiple functions, and the device has range, my yard goes back about 30 feet from the house. They came in labeled boxes with large, whimsical, OG looking bulbs (if that isn't for you, then look for "fairy" lights). I love that they seem like Christmas light size from old days except they are white or gold. Each string has a solar panel which is sizable, like a small ipad, that goes in the ground. They already had a solar charge upon putting them up even after sitting in the box for who knows how long (over a week at my house alone). I will update my review on the longevity of these. But at the price point and zero hassle putting them up, they are a win to me. I would buy these again to go around trees, at Christmas, the entryway if I had something to hang them from. They are glorious and 2-21-25 was a memorable day for me that my late brother's son put these up. Our lakefront yard looks amazing at night under the stars and trees <3 My photo is taken through a window, thus there are reflections, but you can see the whimsical beauty even better through the mind's eye of reality. This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases of all my years buying on Amazon (about 10) because of quality of product, ease of setup, beauty, value.

They work really well, I have the lights set to come on at dusk, run on super bright for 4 hours then turn off. So far they have been flawless. They aren't super bright they illuminate the area though. I strung the lights along my fence, I just draped them over the post and placed the solar panel on the ground facing towards the direction of the sun. They have endured a very hard rain and I saturated the solar panel a few times because it is next to my garden and it hasn't been an issue. When I go camping I will take them off the fence and take them with me. They can also be USB charged. I charged the device to full when I first got it and since it's been on solar.

Update Feb/2024 Early Jan/2024 the lights became erratic. It became apparent that the solar charge was not doing it's job. Contacted company explaining what was going on. Suspected it was likely the battery which according to company could not be replaced. Addlon got back within 48 hours indicating that they would replace the charger. Obviously they were prepared to back up the 1 year warranty that was indicated on Amazon. Within a day of providing address had an email confirming shipping of replacement which arrived expeditiously. To say the least I was impressed that the company did provide support and stood behind their product. I do like the lights and very much appreciate the remote. The dawn to dusk issue has faded as if and when need light in morning it is quickly set up with remote. Changing from 4 stars to 5 stars. In today's world a company that provides support and stands behind their product needs to be recognized, at least as I see it. Installation went fairly well once got the cables untangled which was my fault. Later I find instructions on a small card in bottom of box on how to "unwind cable" in an alleged easy manner. Do like the solar panel set up. Able to install and keep cable out of sun. Sun tends to eat things up around here. There are 2 issues. For a most senior person the instructions were lacking and/or confusing. The second issue is dawn to dusk which is primarily why the set was ordered is about 6 hours. The lights start with dusk which is coming 20:00 and are gone by somewhere around 02:00. Dawn around here is closer to 06:00. The dusk to dawn is about 6 hours so have to shut down on a timer. There is still plenty power for the lights if turned on after 02:00 with remote. Not a big enough issue to uninstall and send back but not dusk to dawn in my book. The lights do work well and do like that brightness can be adjusted.

These are Great and last almost all night long. Nice brightness & fine Quality. I bought 3 sets and Love them - they act just like a plug in set - with no electricity Cost... Best Ever...

I think the best review I could give is that this latest order is my third set of these lights. Needless to say, I am very impressed and pleased with these. I hung my first set from my 10 X 10 canopy. I saw how nice those were and bought a second set to give to a friend as one of her Christmas presents to put by her pool. I enjoy the light they give off and just bought this third set for myself. The solar panel seems to be very efficient in that even during the winter months, they were able to get a good charge. I was planning to buy this third set and found that they were on sale, an added bonus. The remote control works well. I haven't measured the distance but will state that the remote works a good distance away from the solar panel, which is where you aim the remote. There are three brightness settings, and settings for them to blink or go dim then back up to bright. I do not use the blink or that dim to bright setting. From the remote, you can set them to run 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours, or have them just left on. The only difference I found between my first set and this one is that the solar panel housing is a bit smaller, but the solar panel itself seems to be the exact same size.

I’ve been using these Addlon 54FT solar string lights for my outdoor space, and overall they create a really nice vibe. Installation was pretty simple, and the lights feel durable and weather-resistant, which is important for outdoor use.  On the downside, brightness isn’t super strong—they’re more for ambience than lighting up a large area. Also, performance can depend on how much sunlight the panel gets during the day. Overall, these are great for creating a relaxing outdoor setup, just don’t expect super bright lighting.
