This is a really nice product, I was thinking of expanding my storage, however, I didnt need to as I only use this for the doorbell. When i expand my system to include Eufy cameras and other tech then ill expand the storage to hold more recordings and data. Was very easy to set up and directy connected it via ethernet. Also I guess one other good thing is it also acts as a chime, I had forgot to order a chime and so was happy when this worked as the chime.

Brilliant piece of kit the A.I works great just a shame you have to spend more money on this for it to work and it would be nice if they gave you option with a hard drive built in for those people who are not technically minded as the hard drive requirements have to be right apart from that it's a great piece kit and but easy to set up

Have connected it straight to our router set up was easy and connecting our security camera and other items to was easy the app is decent sometimes have a slight delay on footage

Great device for local storage of camera data assuming you want to be wedded to Eufy cameras. I'm good with that personally. It's small, easy to add an SSD to (I have a 512gb drive lying around which is enough for the moment). Main problem is the setup. Done from the phone, scanning of barcode, all the usual. BUT, if you're router is providing a combined 2.4ghz and 5ghz network, then you had better learn how to pause the 5ghz part. If you run the two bands separately, make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4ghz network. Setup does not work via a 5ghz WiFi network. Also, if you have any existing eufy cameras, you will have to remove and re-add them, to set them up to connect to the homebase. Their doorbell handles this in app, so maybe other cameras do, but mine does not. So it's a good device with a solid purpose, but setup is not as easy as it could be for the homebase and any existing items...

Works well out of the box. Simple set up and makes both my bell and cameras much quicker to access. Also improves the facial recognition.

So, I picked up the Eufy Homebase 3, and at first, I wasn’t entirely sure why I needed it. After all, my doorbell, Indoor S350, and Solar S340 all have their own internal storage. But after using it, I see why it’s a great addition. First off, it’s more than just extra storage. The Homebase 3 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is plenty for me. But what really makes it useful is the AI-powered processing—instead of your cameras doing all the work, the Homebase 3 handles the heavy lifting, making everything faster and more efficient. For example, my S350 uses less power because it doesn’t have to process everything itself, which helps with battery life. It also acts as a chime for your Eufy doorbell, though I haven’t set that up since I already have a separate chime. And if 16GB isn’t enough, you can expand it with a 2.5-inch SSD—up to a ridiculous 16TB! That’s an insane amount of storage for security footage. There’s even a USB slot to copy clips onto an external drive if needed. One important thing: store this somewhere out of sight. If someone breaks in and steals the Homebase 3 (and you’re not using cloud backup), then all your footage is gone. So, definitely tuck it away somewhere safe. Overall, if you’re in the Eufy ecosystem, this is a must-have. It centralizes your storage, makes your cameras more efficient, and just works brilliantly. Absolutely fantastic.

All good home base 3 operates as advertised easy to set up. So far so good.

Good quality and worth the money

Great and easy to setup. Good AI recognition features. I like the possibility of adding a HDD or SSD. I would’ve liked to see more automations that would be relevant to daily use. However, for people that have the alarm system from eufy might be great. Overall happy with it and recommend one.
