Very pleased with this product. It's attractive, seems sturdy, wasn't difficult to mount and fit nicely (mounted horizontally) on the top rail of a Shaker cabinet door. We did use shorter screws; the ones provided would have penetrated through the front of the door. We previously had a nice-looking towel holder mounted vertically on the same door. Unfortunately, the paper towels unspooled too easily in that position every time the door swung opened/closed. This got to be a nuisance. The new holder solved that problem and, shall we say, helped preserve familial harmony! This paper towel holder is fantastic!! I live in a studio apartment and have very limited counter space. The previous holder that was there was one of those chunky white plastic ones, and it broke, and I’m actually glad it did! The old one was mounted further out from the wall, so visually it took up a lot mor space. I mounted this one to the underside of the cabinet and flush against the wall, and I love that it swings towards the wall as each roll gets smaller. The only minor thing to note is that it only comes with 2 1” screws (and wall anchors) which is fine if you’re mounting it into the wall, but they’re too long to go into the bottom of a cabinet. Luckily I had some 1/2” screws on hand, so this was not a problem for me. It would be nice though if both sizes were included. Overall, this holder seems very sturdy and durable and I love the low profile design.

When reviewing another product, I noted that usually the simplest solution turns out to be the best solution. That fits this paper towel holder as well. The design is elegantly simple, even minimalist, yet it is actually more robust than it looks in the web page images. It has no ratchets, springs or hinges to wear out. It mounted easily on the bottom of the kitchen cupboard (I ended up using the same screws that held up the old plastic one). Because of the design, it kind of disappears, something I like a lot. There is no clunky contraption in plain sight. It holds a roll of paper towels right where I need them. What more is there? For some reason, I don't have the problems others have noted here. Paper towels have never unraveled, nor has a roll ever fallen off the holder. I have no trouble getting a single sheet of paper torn off. Perhaps how it's mounted, pointing left or right, may influence this. Over all, if you like simple solutions, I can recommend this holder without reservation.

I use this item in a closet to hold up and store a small shovel used for metal detecting and a pin point metal detector. It is solid. Easy to mount as well.

The screws are super long so if you want to mount on a cabinet, you'll have to get your own screws. We tried the cabinet originally but the screw heads snapped off on both when we got about 3/4 of the way in. We ended up using our own shorter screws and mounting it on the wall instead. The unit itself looks great and feels sturdy. It only opens in one direction and you can't change the direction so just keep that in mind if you are a lefty and tear to the left because the roll will fly off that way

I ordered the chrome one and it is much heavier duty than I had anticipated. It seems very well made and I doubt we'll ever need to replace it. It easily holds a large roll of paper towels from a club store and we've had no issue tearing off paper towels one at a time. We chose to install under a cabinet, with the bracket up against the rear edge so that the towels sit against the wall and it does not swing when we remove towels. Install was quick and easy, but we did choose to use some of our own shorter screws. I was hesitant to pay over $10 for a couple simple pieces of metal, but the heft of this item convinced me it was well worth it!

I use perforated paper towels. I would not install the towel holder to face me but sideways so the tear would be sharper. The product is inexpensive and mechanically sound. Fit: Installed it under pressed board (bathroom and kitchen) using screws specific to the shelf. I had placed the towel holder with the open end to add paper towels on the inside by mistake first. Nice I was able to get it turned around. The arm opening on the outside, the metal holding screws did a good job. Value for money: For $10 great Yes I can pull a single sheet without the other hand. The fact the plate holding screws is centered (not entire length of holder side-to-side) allows for it to fit everywhere.

I have bought so many of these. It's simple and it works.

Es un portarrollos muy sencillo. Nada de florituras. Una barra sujeta al soporte y ya, que es para lo que se necesita. Es todo metálico y viene con los tornillos para poderlo poner. El soporte es de bisagra, con lo que se puede mover. El espacio para poner los rollos va sobrado, así que no tendrás problemas para poder poner los más grandes de 600 servicios.

Robust and easy to fit under wall cupboard. Will probably outlast the cupboard. Can be mounted with open end either left or right.
