Halo Wars (Xbox 360)

Top down action strategy featuring Spartans and scorpion tanks? Yes please. And don't forget the scarabs.

A fun little game that I enjoyed the hell out of. It doesn't really expand the Halo universe in any meaningful way - in that its events don't really effect the main series, but it was cool to play, the controls worked well, and it was interesting to see how well a different developer handled the Halo universe. Considering how cheaply you can pick this up now, I'd recommend it

Great condition game, I had to give it a good wipe first try before xbox would recognizer it but since has worked great no issues

I will admit that I wasn't that excited when this game first came out, as I'm not a big fan of the RTS genre. However, I am a big Halo fan, and after playing this game at a friend's house, I just had to buy it. Despite this game being a few years old it still has a lot to offer. People still play the multiplayer modes, the campaign is great and it's a well polished game. If you're a Halo fan and you don't have this in your collection, buy it. It's only a tenner.

Good game, always thought Halo would be good as an RTS game and this is done well. Campaign is a little short but still good and fun to play. Skirmishes are usually where these games shine and HW does a good job with these too. Worth getting

If you are a Halo fan it is a must that you buy this game to add to the collection. It kills hours of time whether you are a massive strategy fan or not (im not) and really does feel like a Halo game. hope for a sequel (even though there probably wont be).

Average PvP, not enough selection options to select certain units, groups etc makes tactics very limited. Cut scenes very good story line very good, fills in quite a lot of the blanks from the original halo games and a nice change of genre. Overall an ok game for online play mainly.
