Not as good as other red lights i purchased in the past
The last few lights of this style that i purchased where noticably better, my cat would try to push me out from under the old ones niether of us noticethe infared from this light, i think this is a red light not infared. I purchaed this for the nonvisible spectrum that is reported to help tissue repair: not to have a pretty red light.

Can't tell if it's working for Me or Not
I've always wanted to try red light therapy due to their reputed benefits so I jumped on the chance to get and review this one when it became available. So far I have used it a handful of times with mixed results. There were a couple of times I used it on my sore fatigued leg muscles and it seemed to help. Other times I didn't seem to get any benefit. I really want to try it on my face for the skin benefits but I can't find a place to clip it and be comfortable at the same time. I would also like to try it on my back and shoulders as well, but again I can't find a place to clip it and be comfortable. The clip seems strong but the bulb is also very heavy so it will only stay safely clipped to a strong solid and sturdy surface which is oddly enough limited in my home. I think the only way I will be able to fully utilize this lamp is to get the tripod for mounting the bulb which is sold separately for an unreasonably high price. The lamp itself is very bright and strong but puts off next to no heat like a red heat lamp bulb does. I can have this lamp just a couple of inches from my skin and only barely detect heat from it.So in my opinion, the bulb is great but the clip on lamp base just doesn't work out for me and why I have not used it more. I plan on getting a tripod for it in the future and will update this review once I've had more time with it. If you are thinking about purchasing this lamp, do yourself a favor and get the tripod as well.

A well-built device.
It’s hard to say if the item is actually working for its intended purpose so I will focus on build quality and the physical product. It seems to be well-made and the components are good quality and reliable. I didn’t have any lights that were non-functional. The whole chassis seems durable and all the hardware operates smoothly and holds securely. The clip is a little cumbersome and awkward to use to get it in the right position, but I can’t really think of a better solution. The cord is a decent length but a slightly longer one would assist with proper placement. It sips electricity and doesn’t produce a lot of heat so that’s a win. I will keep using it and see if after time, there is a noticeable improvement in things its meant for. I will have to update my review at that time.

Could be better.
I was super excited to be able to use a red light in the comfort of my own home. I've always wanted to try out the benefits that everyone raves these lights give. The light was fairly easy to assemble, plugs in and turns right no. It is definitely bright, and you nearly want to put on some sunglasses when in use. It is a little on the smaller side to be using for a total body light, it's more of a spot shot if you will. However I do think it does it's job and provides ample benefits. My biggest grief with this is the fact that it sits on a huge clip that is nearly impossible to open. Once you manage to open and hinge it to something the pressure of it left marks in my desk that I clipped it too and it doesn't necessarily sit still or in one place, it leans and falls etc. With that being said if you're trying to target one specific area the way this is set up to stand makes it hard to target, you're best bet is literally sitting on a table/desk in front of you and only getting your face/chest. Otherwise seems to be a great product.

Great Infrared Light
It works well for red light therapy. Because of its compact size, it is easy to move around as needed. The other thing I like about this is the switch on the cord. It's easy to turn on and off without unplugging it. The only thing I would improve would be the clamp. It does work, but I would prefer a clamp that could better support the weight of the light. Otherwise, we love it!

Backed by anti-aging research
There has been much research done on the benefits of red light therapy, particularly in the cosmetic arena. This device supports that research. For use, the clamp is solid and the mechanism is versatile enough to point the light in your preferred direction. Having said that, it is a heavy device, and in the middle of the night it fell off the fairly solid ledge I had it clipped to. A proper stand may be worth it. The light is bright, so eye protection is a must.

Helps with post-workout muscle soreness
So far this has been helping with muscle soreness and tightness in my legs and shoulder after hours of intense pickleball. The lamp itself seems good and I'm noticing the benefit of using it. But the clamp mount can barely handle the weight of the lamp and the clamp does not hold tight enough for me to feel confident it won't slip off. I might look for a swinging arm lamp to use with this red light therapy lamp.

Instant relief!
I love that I can clasp this on to my nightstand and use it on my hand. It’s convenient as you don’t have to hold the red light itself. With an existing fracture on my left hand this has given me instant relief with each session. I’ve also started using this on my face and it helps combat aging. This a great form of therapy and I highly recommend it to anyone.
