Yes. .or say within reason. Download the manual from Casio, its free and you dont need to buy calculator.. Look at page 114 and 107. Make sure you download fx-991CW...not fx-991.

when you turn off the calculator, the calculation history is deleted or not?

The data is deleted when you turn it off. It's the only thing that keeps it from being the perfect scientific calculator for me.

is there a ohms law calculator?

Well any calculator can "do" Ohms law. If ypur worried about remembering it, any programming calculator can store formulas for you...Calculated Industries (yellow calculators) makes 2 Electrical calculators, pretty sure both have Ohms law function key.
