Cotton Rope (1 in x 50 ft) Natural Thick Rope for Tug of War, Railings, Hammock, Decorating (Brown)...

I bought this rope because I needed to add a rope to my aerial arsenal. I do aerial silks, I was searching for aerial ropes and they are all well over $300. So I decided to give this rope a try. Seeing it’s pennies compared to the ropes I was looking at (even though they are the same exact thing)I’m so stoked I bought this rope. One week after buying the rope and playing around with it, I used it in a performance. I know not many people (if any here) will be using this as an aerial rope, BUT the facts are-the rope is sturdy, but has a beautiful feel to it.-the color is natural beige, but does have random strands (very small, but they are there) of neon yellow, orange and blue. (It doesn’t bother me, but for someone that’s using this for interior or a specific project, you should know)

We were looking for a rope appropriate for creating "handrails" with medieval nautical flare. This rope is perfect! I cut it to length and whipped the ends, then fastened them through wrought iron rings. We love how it looks.I will post a pic later.

This rope worked out perfectly for the cylinder base I made for a dining room table. Very good quality cotton rope.

Bought this rope to use as a decorative railing on a foot bridge over the creek on our property. It looks great and it’s thick and sturdy. I sprayed a light coat of used motor oil on the rope to keep the animals from chewing on it and it has worked like a charm.

It was not 1", at best it was 3/4" and that was not under strain at all. As soon as it gets stretched out, it would likely drop to 5/8". If you do not care about the thickness and are using it for arts and crafts or something, it would likely be fine, but it was not as described and did not meet my purposes. Waste of time. Returned it.

Consistently good looking and soft to the touch.

Love the durability and softness of the rope since we used it for a climbing rope as well. Not scratchy at all.
