I was a tad underwhelmed when this lap desk arrived, when I ordered it the price was $70 so I was expecting this to look a bit higher quality. Overall this is a decent lap desk and I use it almost daily, it makes it easier to use your laptop in bed or on the couch and it's even nice to use it on top of a normal desk if you want your laptop elevated a bit.I wish the cushion was bigger and more stuffed, it's basically like a squishy bean bag underneath which can be removed by unzipping it.The surface is sturdy but I would not recommend it for writing on paper due to the fake leather texture, it would make your writing look messy. I also do not like using this if I have to type something long, such as an essay, because the hard plastic edge around it is a bit sharp and digs into my wrists/forearms which gets unpleasant. But it keeps my 13inch laptop secure, no sliding around. The back little indent is useless for holding your phone because even my small laptop needs to be centered to be stable and then that indent cannot be used to hold anything. So given these flaws I think it's an overpriced but decent product. I honestly wouldn't pay more than $40 for this, I think the seller should lower the price for sure.

I chose this item because my old lap desk was not big enough to hold my 17 inch laptop properly and my 13 inch laptop with a mouse.The description says that it can fit up to a 17 inch laptop but keep in mind that the section that holds your tablet and or phone will be covered. If you move the 17 inch laptop over a little, then you can fit your phone and use a standalone mouse on the other side. The only problem though is my gaming laptop doesn’t have ventilation on the bottom, so I have to add an additional piece to prop up the bottom. The table top is a non-skid material so if your docking station has rubber bottoms then it will work great on this lap desk. My screen is so big that I am able to use a separate table and use my gaming keyboard and mouse on the lap desk and put my phone in the back slot. This lap desk came in handy when I traveled to visit family; I was able to sit on the couch and play and work on my laptop without having to have a separate table. It packed in my suitcase flat and didn’t take up much room from my other stuff.When I use my other laptop, the 13 inch one for work, I can sit my laptop on one side, my 11 inch tablet with keyboard floating case on the other side and my phone in the slot in the back. I did have to turn it a little (diagonally) but everything fit nicely. I did notice that my laptop got a little warm on the bottom so I used my docking station and that helped a lot.The only negative thing for me personally so far is the the plastic catcher. You can push it down but there is no way to lock it down. It is great for when are using a standalone mouse or keyboard because if you are tilted, your items won’t fall off into your lap but when I use the laptop keyboard, it was a little annoying trying not to push it down since the height was taller then my opened laptop. I have a keyboard cushion and I ended up using that to keep the piece down. Also, if you put a tablet in the slot in the back, it may be too big to add your phone as well. I put my 11 inch tablet in there (landscape view) with no case and there was no room to put my phone side by side. I put it in there portrait mode and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it in there without it falling out.Overall, I love this item and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We get since recieve this lap table, It has become an inexpensivle item in our house so kuch so that we had to get 2 to avoid arguments! Lol It's one of those items you get and you realize it's a item you didn't even know you needed! Not only great for couch use of keyboards, laptops, tablets etc. But it is great to eat on as well. Good material for the top the rest for the stylus is convenient. Once you get into the LapTable experience like me you realize it's not just a novelty item, but a bold deceleration of our way of life. To have comfort & convenience at the same time. I recently received the Lap Desk with Pillow Cushion and I must say, I am quite pleased with it. The device ledge and tablet holder are very convenient and the lap desk itself is well-constructed. The pillow cushion is comfortable to use and the fact that it is removable and washable is a huge plus. Although it was a bit pricey, I think it was worth the investment as it makes working or writing on my laptop so much more comfortable, especially when lounging on the sofa or in bed. The lap desk fits my 17 inch laptop perfectly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of a portable and comfortable workspace.4 stars!

When I first opened the package, I feel like I was like what the heck is this thing, why is it so big, blah blah blah. I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not. However, after actually giving it a shot, by using it for some stuff I had to do, I realized that it is actually designed really well. It has room for a big laptop, plus you can set your phone or a mouse off to the side. And the slot is perfect to have both my phone and my tablet upright next to each other. I wish that it was a tad longer though, because when I tip my tablet sideways, my phone doesn’t quite fit into the extra space.And the pillow underneath is kind of interesting. I would not expect a lap desk to have a pillow on it, but it does. You can completely detach the pillow from the desk so if you don’t want to use it, you don’t have to. Or, you know, you could take a nap during your break at work or something, haha. But the pillow does stabilize the desk a lot because it fills in the weird shape that your lap makes when you sit down. I feel like this is super useful for someone who doesn’t have a desk all the time; you can just bring this with you. It’s actually very portable, you just have to make some room for it because dimension wise, it’s about the length of a couple-month-old baby.
